Works great with Mac.

Works well with ASUS S17 G701 with HP Reverb G2 VR headset
I purchased this to be able to use an HP Reverb G2 VR headset with an ASUS ROG S17 G701. This machine has one of its USB C ports able to be used in alternate mode for use as a DisplayPort (left side item 7 as identified in the ASUS manual) . In my case, I connected the Reverb G2 USB C connector to item 6. I have used this setup for flying simulations and VR video and all works perfectly.

Solidly built
Haven't noticed any flickering or flashing when converting from thunderbolt to DP, one thing to note however is that it does seem to run a little hot. Not sure if this will effect the long term usage.

Works great
This adapter has allowed me to connect my VR headset (Reverb G2 with DisplayPort) to my laptop which only has HDMI and USB-C/Thunderbolt 4 socket.

Works great for the Valve Index
I was worried at first that using a third party adaptor would give me problems with the Valve Index, but I have had no issues at all using this adaptor - it even manages to hold up when overclocking the Index to 144Hz, which is great. The only downside is that the adaptor itself gets very hot when using the Index, but that's not really a problem.

Bought for Rift S - Didn't work
I bought this adapter specifically for a Rift S as i don't have a Display port on my Asus Dash F15 laptop. Unfortunately didn't work. I have tested the Rift on my PC and can confirm it works via DP. I have also used a Quest 2 via the Thunderbolt port on my laptop, which also works. I had high hopes for this Thunderbolt adapter, especially as it mentions the Rift. But no joy, still nothing displaying on the HMD and Oculus software does not detect the HMD either
