Two charges in 5 ounces: Size and shape of Iphone 6
Works well enough and 5400 should approach charging an iPhone twice or give a decent grip on life to a mini Ipad. It weighs 5.1 ounces which is like my iPhone 5 in a light case (4.8 oz). It is pretty close to the size of an Iphone 6, meaning just a bit bigger than an Iphone 5.INSTRUCTIONS: Unit sits in the Off mode. Short-press the button and it will display battery status (low med hi) for a second and shut itself down again. Long-press the button two full seconds to turn "on." When it is being charged, it will show a "marching" indicator light. When it is charging your phone, it will also show a "marching" indicator light. One warning - this pack's only input is a female USB socket. Therefore, you need a unique "male USB A to male USB A" cable to charge it. This is a rare cable - you won't have any sitting around your house. I ordered several "USB A Male to Micro USB Female" little adapters for about two bucks to keep handy in my briefcase or suitcase. That way it will charge off a Micro USB cord like my earphones and my other small devices, as if it had a female USB micro socket on the side like most small devices..Second Warning - NEVER go on a trip with ANY battery pack and ANY iphone cable until you have verified at home that THAT battery pack and THAT iphone cable will work together to charge your iPhone.Third warning - On my first road trip I kept turning the unit "on" with a one second press, but that doesn't really turn it on (it just blinks the battery level for you and shuts itself right back down so I was plenty annoyed.) You have to press and hold 2-3 seconds to turn ON.

skimped on solder when building but I like the overall design.
Pros:1.usb charger port in the bottom middle just like the iPhone (i Velcro it to the back of the iphone6 and use a 3" charge cable, this is the only battery I have found that sits correctly)2. Comfortably thin.3. Same size as my iPhone 6.Cons:1. One USB port for both charging the pack giving a charge. (I would like a separate port for charging but not if it required moving the existing port.)2. The 5 second hold of the power button to start charging is annoying.3. The power button is only being held in place by a very small amount of solder. (The button broke its solder just with the 5 second turn on requirement in just a month. I ended up taking apart the case and re soldering the button in place.) would recommend to the company to find a better brace for the button, use more solder or get rid of the long hold to turn it on. Maybe a combination of all 3 things.Overall I am content with it because it's the only battery pack that met some very specific requirements I had.

Clean design but requires a *SPECIAL* cable to charge it.
I guess I should have read the reviews before buying this as now I see people have already complained about what I don't like about it.It uses the same port for both charging devices as well as charging the power bank. This means it requires a *SPECIAL* cable to charge it!! I HATE needing special cables.I think they tried to follow Apple design philosophy too strictly - simplify the user interface to the point of making it a pain. It's not like they couldn't have put on a NORMAL micro USB port to charge the power bank. But I guess it looks aesthetically appealing to have only one connector despite the fact that now having to have a *SPECIAL* cable far outweighs any aesthetically appeal of having one connector.Otherwise it seems to be quite nice, clean design (too clean, I guess) - compact and *thin* like I was looking for. Unfortunately it's been functionally hobbled (in my opinion) by requiring a special cable.

This thing comes with a weird USB cable. The chances are very high that you don't have a spare of this one; you can't just plug it into your micro USB and be done with it. It's got a "big" plug at both ends.

Worked Only Once!!!
Charged it properly and used it once within Amazon's 30 day return policy. Before the next 30 days were up, tried to use it a second time but the device does not work in spite of being 100% charged. Not happy with the hardware or Amazon's 30 day return policy on this item. Will be seeking a replacement directly from the manufacturer.
