Approximately how long does the iron retain its heat between charges?

If ironing something the iron obviously cools quicker, but I would say approx 2-3 mins. So long as you put the iron back on the base each time it reheats very fast while you're moving the item that you are ironing. Not having the cord makes ironing so much easier.

Does this leak when steam is off please?

I presume you mean if you turn the steam off and carry on ironing, I do this when ironing woollen garments and have not detected any leakage. Can highly recommend this iron, makes the chore so much easier.

How long does this iron for before having to recharge?

About 20 seconds. Then 20 seconds to reheat back up. Not good.

The red is £40 and the black is£65 but they are both the same ?

They look both the same, got the same code. I brought the red its a great iron. Easy to use.
