The bed is great and having the extra storage space is brilliant! Easy to open and close and the mattress (bought separately) doesn’t slide off. The bed came in two base parts and a headboard and was easy to put together. Should last a long time!

This bed is so lovely! It’s very sturdy and so easy to assemble. My headboard is lower than other customer pictures but I will see if I can move it up as right now you can’t see the headboard above the mattress and pillows! Arrived days earlier than expected but was given a days notice so it’s you can arrange to have someone home to receive the delivery. I did read the reviews before hand, as you really do need a heavy mattress to keep the bed down, but for me that wasn’t a problem as my mattress is really heavy. Hugely impressed with this bed - same quality as expensive bed shops but half the price!

Great quality. I was a bit sceptical about buying a bed online, i needn't have worried. After visiting a well known national bed co on 14 December and being told that it would be end of January for delivery i decided to check out Amazon, I'm really glad I did. Firstly this bed easily compares with others being sold on high street at 2-3 times the price (I discovered there is a huge mark up when buying from retailer as opposed to manufacturer). The quality is great and so easy to put together (I'm female early 60’s and did not need any help) the only downside for me was the headboard screws - i went and bought others but would still give 5 stars overall - more if it was possible. Really pleased with purchase. Forgot to say It arrived 3 days after ordering - FANTASTIC SERVICE.

I bought this bed a few days ago and was disappointed with the low quality fabric (Chenille) as soon as we opened the packaging.The instructions could be clearer. Had to watch a YouTube video to be confirm that the process of adding the headboard.The struts are not very strong and of shorter length if you have a 8-9" thick mattress. The headboard moves back whilst you lean against it, even if you rest your head gently.The quality of the base is good though the craftsmanship could have been better. There are small gaps between the legs and the base ply, a very shoddy job.This purchase has reaffirmed my belief that certain products should never be bought online. This was my first furniture purchase online and the last.This was for my daughter's bedroom and I am feeling guilty for buying this bed for her room. Well, I can return this bed but I won't and bite the bullet and move on.Hope this helps someone else make the right decision.

I ordered this side opening Ottoman after reading other reviews and trying to get the best price with a headboard included, as our old one was pine and dated. The bed arrived in two parts plus the headboard, and was placed in my hallway, the bases are heavy. I could see through the plastic that the colour we had chosen MINK was gorgeous. The box of feet with instructions was in one of the bases, but be warned the top opens quite sharply with no mattress on it and the instructions warning you of this, well this was inside, definitely British then. Getting it all upstairs was not that difficult as the plastic wrapping helped me slide and push it up the stairs, I am an O.A.P.! It was all very well wrapped and protected and it must have taken me longer to remove all this than the very simple connection of the two bases and headboard which required no instruction really, but there if needed. I was standing and admiring it all when the door bell rang, the mattress had arrived. Perfect timing. Must say the finished look with the colour, the chrome feet, and the luxurious material exceeded the image on the computer screen. Delighted.

Such a great space saving bed. Fast, efficient service. Bed looks lovely.

I bought this bed a couple years ago and thought it was great but unfortunately the lid to one side has chipped away and pistons don't work on checking the other base I found the bottom wood cracked . the company said wear and tear I would of expected longer also said they would replace pistons but that's no good as wood is cracked .very disappointed

Very sturdy single bed frame. The storage area is very good area and off the ground. the height of frame is approximately 15 inches, covered in a grey material fabric that looks good. Opening for storage on the single bed is easy but the springs are very responsive and work fine. Good standard for the cost.
