Quality and affordability.
If you are purchasing this for someone or yourself with extensive wound care issues, it is a great product at a great price. We all know that wound care isn't cheap and if you are constantly having to buy products not covered by insurance it's important to save where you can.

Must have for heavily exuding wounds
I had a large heavily exuding wound on my leg and had tried every kind of dressing but everything I tried would be fused to my wound when it came time to change it. I was amazed when I removed my dressing nearly 24 hours later and not only was it in no way stuck but was so incredibly absorbent it had pulled so much out of my wound like a sponge and it all absorbed into the combine pad that I had on top. My previous dressings would not warrant such results, the pad on top would be nearly dry. You do need a secondary dressing and/or some type of bandage to keep it from drying out. My large wound is totally healed and so much faster than I had expected. I would dress the wound as follows: a piece of alginate-cut to the exact size of wound, covered with a large non-stick gauze pad, covered with a combine abd pad (cut in half since the whole was too large). To adhere it all to my wound and keep moisture locked in, I used something a little out of the ordinary but turned out to be ideal. A roll of tattoo adhesive plastic. You can cut it to the exact size you need and it’s completely waterproof. Hope that helps!
