This product is by far the best Calcium/Magnesium supplement I have ever known. I have given this product to almost everyone in my household. They unanimously raved of how fast and pleasant their sleep were. This, just after 1 or 2 serving! This product made us very, very sleepy within minutes. The beauty of this product is that it, itself, doesn't put you to sleep. It gives the body the minerals, what it naturally needs, to do that work on its own. It's far better than any sleeping pill! A brief info: Magnesium is a very important mineral in the body. (the fourth most abundant). A deficiency in magnesium often results in insomnia, fatigue, depression and many other serious health problems. Its important to get the recommended levels (which a lot of people don't get due to poor diet).Stay away from sleeping pills, as that will cause you to become dependent on them, by causing your body to stop producing the relaxing hormone naturally.Pro:*Powdered form for easy consumption and fast absorption! A possible explanation as to why it wasn't as effective for some could be the result of diet, such as high caffeine or for others, it requires they take it for longer period before noticing the effects.

Going in, I was told this stuff does everything from cure joint pain to leprosy and the only limitation was it was ineffective for straightening your teeth. I was, shall we say, skeptical, but I bought it anyway because of its leading promise to give you a better night’s sleep and improve your general alertness and energy level. When you are 71, sleep and energy head south, so I was drinking too much coffee to stay awake and get things done after the crummy night I had. Just the promise was enough to make me try it.Before I recommend anything like this, I have to say that each of us is the same inside but infinitely different. What works great for me in one way may be worthless in that regard for you, but after a couple of months you may notice your teeth are straighter and whiter. Go figure. In short I have eliminated coffee from my diet. I am more awake, alert and vigorous during the day and because of that, I find myself more cheerful and ready to do new things. Sadly, there has been no improvement in sleep.This product is the best price for the best quality product on the market. For me, it is well worth it. I have to add that after a month taking CalMax twice a day, my teeth are strangely whiter, but I attribute that to the elimination of coffee more than the product.

Taste could be better,but I do think this product has helped me sleep better

Through years of joint, muscular and nerve pain meds and supposedly remedies, this has worked a miracle. It helps with my sciatica, tendinitis, joint pain and all. I love to dance in which I am in a line dance/swing dance group and would not be able to dance without it. It gave me “my life” back. DANCING!!! A friend of mine who dances w/me and has MS recommended it to me and I thank God for her! I hope my experience leads to someone trying it and getting the miraculous pain relief that I have!Btw, I don’t hv to use it everyday to get relief. I use 1 dose every 2 to 3 days & can go even longer without sometimes.

So far good results. I feel less contrite and more vibrant since taken Calmax.

Before using this product you might want to go online and read about the possible side effects. Especially if you have any current gastrointestinal issues. I mixed the product according to instructions and took one little sip. Since I didn't like the taste I didn't drink any more at the time but I did intend to finish drinking. Didn't take long for my stomach to tell me something was wrong. My side effects were not mild but not extreme. I had a very uncomfortable nausea. I then developed a heightened sense of uneasiness and a very profound "Dry mouth" which was very unsettling. I did not drink any more, just the initial sip. My mouth was so dry I had to keep drinking water for hours and running to the bathroom to pee which seemed like every 15 minutes. When these side effects did not subside I thought I might have to go to the hospital emergency room. I then went online to see if there were any known side effects reported by others. A quick Google search showed that the side effects I had experienced were not unusual. Seeing a doctor was recommended if the side effects were extreme. It's been more than 12 hours since I took the sip and though I feel a little better my stomach is still not settled and the feeling of nervousness still persist. I had to call out from work because I didn't sleep well since I was so worried. Thankfully I have anti-anxiety meds to help with the feeling of anxiety. Quite possible it might take a full 24 hrs for this stuff to work it's way out of my system. I take other meds but the website I read recommended not taking any prescription medicine until the side effects have worn off. The worse side effect was the heightened uneasiness / agitation which had me jumping up every couple minutes just to walk around. Since I was about to go to bed I was tired and all this was very inconvenient and worrisome. Not the kind of thing you like happening when you are a senior citizen and live alone with no one to watch over you. Hopefully I'll feel better by tomorrow.. After reading the reviews on Amazon I'm amazed that I'm the only one to have a negative reaction.
