Brewers Yeast Powder - Natural Nutritional Yeast Powder & Active Yeast - Lactation Support & Lactation Supplement for Increased Breast Milk - Yeast for Bread & Yeast for Baking Lactation Cookies

I originally purchased this product, Vie Naturelle Brewer's Yeast (BY) Powder, for my dogs to ward off fleas and improve their itchy, flea-bitten skin. I mix it in with their food and they have no problem eating it up. It's only been a week, so it's kind of early to tell, but it seems to be helping them. This is a natural form of BY, so I'm confident that it's packed with B complex and nutrients that are readily absorbable (unlike artificial vitamins).Since the dogs love it, I decided to try it myself. In the past, I've tried BY and could not handle the strong bitter taste. Vie Naturelle's BY is debittered and I can handle consuming a tablespoon with my heated almond milk just before bedtime (the heating makes the BY dissolve and also helps me sleep at night). I've only been taking it for about one week and it seems to be helping me already. I've had some mild tinnitus (noise in the ear) and it seems to be subsiding after several days of taking this product.At any rate, as it seems to be helping both my dogs and me, I will continue to purchase this product. It is also very reasonably priced compared to its competitors on Amazon. I will give a review update after longer use (one month) for a longer term analysis. But so far, so good!

First let me just say, I was skeptical because every time I read anything about brewers yeast everyone always talks about the bad taste and bitter flavor. I’m pleased to say that I baked a batch of lactation cookies and although there is a VERY slight beer type of smell I was unable to taste ANYTHING but cookie and believe me, my palate is extremely sensitive. Easiest recipe for lactation cookies: 1 pack oatmeal chocolate chip cookie mix (I used Betty Crocker). Follow directions on package then add 1 TBS brewers yeast, one TBS ground flax seed. That’s it!! I was spending sooo much money on milk maids cookies and honestly these taste SO much better! I froze them and sit out a few in the morning. This recipe makes about 20 cookies!! I will be ordering more of this yeast for sure! Although this bag will last forever! Hopefully this helps someone out there!!

i have never been able to pump 4 oz on just one sitting until now. and instant results — i took this with my shake in the morning and by 2pm, this is how much i was able to get out. not only do i pump more but i’m able to get more fatty milk!i gave this 4 stars because although it says there’s no flavor.. there sure is and it’s so unpleasant! i honestly kept gagging, it also made my shake oily.. idk what that’s about.overall amazing product for bf mommas!!!

I purchased this product to add to my recipes for lactation cookies and smoothies. ALL brewers yeast has a slight aftertaste, IMO, (I've tried 4 brands now) but this one is very mild and easily masked in the aforementioned recipes. Packaging seemed thick and durable with resealable strip (but I prefer to store mine in a canister) and customer service was kind by reaching out to make sure my product was meeting my needs. I will purchase again!

I am breastfeeding so I want to pump up my milk supply...not sure if it works but I think it works wonder in terms of supplying the milk flow...what works the best is aiding digestion and it tastes so good with soup. I added this to every soup base that I ate and it tastes like miso soup which I love. Since using this it helps me relaxed more by regulate my digestion with all the goodness, relaxing also means aiding milk supply so I recommend using this product for your overall health.

One of the main benefits that appealed to me is that it can help maintain blood sugar levels. It’s easy to add into things and it doesn’t really affect the flavor of my foods which is nice. The B vitamins are a nice bonus. The only thing I don’t like is that it’s not gluten free because I know that it’s good for digestive health and the person who has the most gut issues has celiac disease so she wasn’t able to try this product. Hopefully they will change this in the future because I know celiac people could use all the beneficial things to gut health that brewers yeast can offer. I’m very grateful for the benefits it offers to blood sugar levels!

Good product. No flavor. Works very well for lactation cookies and milk supply. I think it gave my baby some indigestion, however. With my first baby I realized that fenugreek gave him reflux. This time I avoided it but i think the brewers yeast has the same effect on my second baby that fenugreek does! So I limited how much I ate in one day and it got better. Just FYI

I believe this to be a 5 star product. I bought it for lactation cookies and while the dough had a mild yeast scent, it wasn't a detectable flavor.While I do believe it worked for milk boosting, I ended up being incredibly sensitive to the product and had extreme gastrointestinal pain. Initially I tried to power through but my baby also seemed sensitive to it, so I had to discontinue use. I do wish that they offered a smaller size because of this, since I hate to waste it.
