More than double the regular power transformer cord set is required--not practical for travel.
Requires two large power transformers that must connect to one large pigtail "Y" connector port with it's own stiff, large power cord that terminates in a rather small, flat plug which is inserted into the side of the laptop. The excessive power transformer plus additional bulky, stiff cord with connector Port adds unacceptable weight and need for much extra table space to the left of the laptop and wherever the additional transformer may be placed. MSI claims that they did not have a supplier for a practical power supply in one cord set, so to achieve the wattage, they claim they did what is currently the problem I'm describing. It is not practical to carry so much hardware when traveling.

"Luggable"
Yes, it's big, yes, it's heavy, yes it takes two power transformers, but it's top-end desktop hardware in a laptop. If you're looking for something you're going to want to move a lot, try one of their 15" models with 1080. If you're looking for a top of the line 4K desktop machine in a laptop package, this is the machine for you. I'm planning to use it for VR demos, and I have a feeling the hardware is going to have no problem with that.*Edit:* So I've had it for a few months now and in that time I've already had to RMI it because the power connector got loose on it and the power would cut out several times an hour, causing the CPU and GPU to severely throttle for a couple of seconds. Which made it basically unusable for gaming. Additionally, even with cooler boost on (Which is remarkably loud,) the laptop gets very hot rendering 3D at 4K. I've got a cooling pad on order to see if that helps, but it seems to be a desktop in a laptop form factor, which should be put on a desk and never actually moved. If you do plan to move it around, unplug the power connector on the laptop before you do so, so that you don't wiggle it too much and break something. It's still an amazing engineering accomplishment, has some very real down sides.*Additional Edit*: Just a couple months after getting it back on the RMI for the power plug problem, the Nvidia card has started severely lagging under even the lightest loads. I'm still trying to lock down exactly what's happening, but I'm switching my review to "Not recommend."

My Review
Horrible! Not what is written in Description. LIES about having 144Hz. I want a full refund!I was upset about not having 144hz; however, after deciding to keep it because of shipping problems. I must say i am very impressed by this laptop. It indeed is beast. Better than a desktop in my opinion. The charging plug could be better but oh well. And the 4k resolution is amazing. As for the 144hz, i have a monitor that can run it and i play on that instead. The laptop handles it beyond smoothly.Sorry about the bad review, hope this update gets more people to get this laptop that will really knock their socks off lol. Its a great laptop.
