Great fan cooled my large lounge down in 10 mins on setting 3. Then down on to 1 to keep the room cool , I was a bit concerned when reading the other reviews whether to order or not, it’s a little noisy but not unbearable once it’s down on the first setting , it certainly has a mega breeze on setting 3. Its fantastic I’m glad I purchased it, would highly recommend and it came 2 days earlier than expected bonus.

I bought this to replace the seemingly endless supply of 12" plastic oscillating fans that I have had to buy over recent years for my lounge, as they break. This is bigger, with chrome cage and blades so looks a lot nicer. It also works a lot better, and we rarely have it set higher than level 1, which generates a good breeze. Level 2 is a is a strong wind and level 3 is near hurricane ! The only downside is that it is noisy, but to be expected given the volume of air it is shifting.I don't think I will ever by a 12"plastic fan again.

This fan has three power level options. The lowest power level is enough to easily cool a large room in the UK in summer. The higher power levels would be good for cooling a rock band onstage. It is seriously hardworking but extremely quiet for a fan of this size. Lightweight and easy to carry, it even tilts upwards to adjust the angle of airflow if necessary.

Can't fault the price. Better than prices on high streets and local supermarkets. It's great for open environments (eg shop, open office with lots of footfall because anything beyond the lowest speed is fairly noisy. If it's in a small office, you're better off getting the 14" version, which I also bought for a small office at the height of the heatwave of summer 2019. Only ever needed the lower speed. With the 18" version, you need to keep at low or medium buttons or it will drown out your conversations. That's reason I suggested having in a large, open or noisy environment as it would blend right in. No complaints as I'm sure any large fan would be noisy.Yes, I would recommend.

This fan worked for 5 minutes then stopped changed the fuse still would not work

Bloody awesome, a little loud due to size of the rota blades at night if your trying to watch tv but god it does the job .. great bit of kit
