Fabulous. I used Creme de La Mer in 04 and this seriously reminds me of it. The beautiful fragrance is the same (love it) and it’s nice and rich like CDLM. I can totally see this being way too heavy for some. I’m fifty with post menopausal (hysterectomy) skin and type one diabetes. While quite greasy and separated when applied, it definitely blends and leaves my skin butter soft and healthy. Cheap as chips- German formula only. I use it on my entire body. No more dry scales or itching.

I fell in love with Nivea when I was younger, but somehow or another I stopped using it and was buying just whatever was in "style" at the time. However, I rediscovered this amazing product while I lived in Greece. Not only does this moisturize like no other lotion, it hydrates, lasts all day, and a little known fact here in the States, is that this is a GREAT tanning agent!! I naturally burn and NEVER tan...I did what the locals did, and used it before I went outside, to the beach, everything. I did not have to reapply after I got out of the water, and I tanned like crazy. Just do yourself a favor, and whether you want to use it to tan or just to make your skin feel amazing, and get this cream (I favor the blue tin)

Glad I found this on Amazon! Much cheaper on here than on the other website that sells the Authentic Made in Germany Nivea Creme.I've been using Nivea Creme for almost 10 years. I have lived in Canada and the ones being sold there, although 'Made in Germany', somehow lack the ingredients Limonene, Geraniol, Hydroxycitronellal, Linalool, Citronellol, Benzyl Benzoate, Cinnamyl Alcohol.The one I received has all the German formula/ingredients, so I know and believe it is Made in Germany, though not explicitly labeled on the tin. Before purchasing, I had to confirm with the seller first and they confirmed it is from Germany.This is the only moisturizer I use on my face. It can be greasy, so I dab a tissue to remove any oils/grease, and I wake up with a smooth and soft skin! I have oily skin, but I never experience any breakouts with Nivea Creme. I've always been told I look young/youthful (Wink!). I also use the American version, but on my hands and other parts of my body.I highly recommend the German version Nivea Creme!

The tin is dented, but the inner seal was intact. As indicated in other reviews, it is made in Germany, and the directions for use are in Spanish and Portuguese, and Italian, not a problem, but it does look like the tin made a rough journey to the Amazon warehouse, and then to my address. An excellent cream with many emollients. Great barrier for wind scorched skin. Worked well on hands too. This would be considered greasy by many people, buy it is a great barrier or sealant for winter weary skin. I'm glad I ordered it!

The Nivea from Europe is far better then that which is sold in the US. Love that you carry it! I've been using Nivea for 50 years, great stuff!

This cream is thicker than crisco…..I purchased on a recommendation…and I am so glad I did. I’d been battling rough patches on my face. Within 3 days, my skin was as smooth as a baby’s butt!! I couldn’t believe this old time cream would work so well. Be sure to get the German version in the tin! Fabulous night cream….nice on hands too!
