So many of these reviews aren’t reviews and it kinda makes me mad Amazon allows people the half-do things. Anyway, here’s a legit review from a guy in the Midwest who JUST started using Amazon recently (weird I know). For those of you who are bedwetters OR are a parent of a bedwetter: bless you. It’s rough and not talked about enough because of how embarrassing society makes it. Did you know 1-2% of the adult population are bedwetters? And that’s just the ones that have sought medical attention! Out of all the alarms, pads, diapers available it’s easy for bedwetters to waste so much money and be left defeated and disgusted with one’s self when we SHOULD be blaming these company’s for false advertisement. Mattresses aren’t cheap! Finally, I give you this mattress protector. I did a little test by filling up my plant water can and straight up poured the whole thing over a dirty sheet with the pad on. I then walked out to the room and played some video games and forgot about it for a few hours. Once I tired of video games, I wasn’t running upstairs to check on my little experiment because I honestly figured it would be once again not waterproof and I’d be sleeping on the couch while mattress dried. Was I pleasantly surprised and downright giddy when I pushed my hands under the pad and pushed down on the mattress to find it cool and completely dry. I like that this isn’t a zippered up full protector because it’s easy to get off and wash and doesn’t rip like the vinyl ones. Make sure you put in the dryer on just the air fluff alone or you’re likely to melt the waterproof membrane. Very satisfied with this purchase and can’t recommend enough!!

Perfect, good quality worth every dime

Softness is definitely there but it is a more rough texture than your typical blanket but it doesn’t affect your other sheets. For comfort five stars because it doesn’t make noises when you’re rolling around it’s very snug to the bed and I don’t have to worry about if I move too much in adjusting making it not serve its purpose. As far as warmth it doesn’t add nor to take away from the quality asleep. I am the type of person that Hass to sleep with the fan on no matter the time of year and it doesn’t make me too hot and it hasn’t compromise the cooling effect of my mattress.I have spelt water on here once or twice I did not let it set because I’m not just gonna do that but it did not get on my mattress and I have spilled other things on there and they haven’t leaked through, with this being said no that I did not let them sit there for too long of a time. But it definitely serves it’s purpose for me

I bought this use as a barrier under a fluffy mattress pad in case of drink spills or pet accidents. It’s below another pad to protect the expensive mattress because I hate the sound & feel of most waterproof pads. It’s think and basic, but it does exactly what’s needed. Quality appears fine for the price.

I purchased this because my 3 y/o daughter has had accidents on her toddler bed in the past. Since we moved her to a twin bed, I was nervous that she would wet the nicer mattress.I was very skeptical after receiving it, because it just didn’t seem like it would protect all that well. I’m happy to report that the positive reviews were all right! After owning this for 9 months with no accidents, my 5 and 3 y/o decided to sleep together and we had double accidents! Yikes!! I was NOT looking forward to attempting to clean the mattress, but once I took the protector off I found the mattress was bone dry! Highly, highly recommend!! I will be buying for my other mattresses just to avoid accidental spills.

Buy this one! I have a heavy sleeper who wets the bed every night. This one does not leak! Much more effective than the $80 ones I bought with the bed. Yes, this does have a thin plastic backing but has stood up great with daily washing and line drying. So far it has not stained from urine either. I have 2, bought together about 1 month ago.

My original intention for this is that my dog has occasional incontinence at night since he got fixed. Well, a week after purchasing, I broke my leg. I am totally bedbound. I ended up messing up laundry and had no top sheet. This was soft enough to sleep on as a sheet. Then my husband and I decided to try a hair basin and spilled half a basin of water on the sheet. It held the water and our mattress was dry. Huge life saver. I definitely recommend.

Fits nicely over tall mattress, so far so good

I poured a cup of water on the mattress cover before the initial wash to see how well it would prevent the water from leaking through and I'm happy to say that not one drop seeped through to the other side after sitting on the surface for a few minutes and even after attempting to rub it in, so 5 stars for waterproofing.Lost a star on the thickness of the cotton material however. It is very thin and feels a bit cheap because of this. I wouldn't mind paying a bit more for extra thickness. However, so far this hasn't impacted the performance of the mattress cover. It fits the mattress well and doesn't move or rustle. I will likely get a second one of these.
