This fridge was EXCELLENT for a road trip out to the western U.S - We put it in the back of our 4runner on a custom built slide, attached to a jackery 500 battery. This thing SIPS energy on the 12v setting. We connected the jackery to the vehicle cigarette adapter and the fridge to the battery so that it would run off the battery while the vehicle was off. Never had a problem or hiccup with power - food stayed cold, and the freezer worked perfectly. We often parked in a shady area, but it was still hot outside -- the fridge ran cool.We stored the fridge for a year in between trips, and it lost functionality. Contacted ICECO - their customer service handled it quickly and provided an immediate fix. Couldn't be happier with the unit or the customer service. Stuff happens. It is nice having the confidence in knowing that when it does -- the company backs their product.

Whether plugged into AC power or your vehicle's DC outlet, it chills quickly. Plus, when connected to a portable power station, it's remarkably efficient. I never had an issue with running out of power on my deep cycle battery on a 4 day trip.Sturdy and Thoughtful Design: The all-metal construction gives it a robust feel, and the compressor operates quietly. I bought the IceCo in 2021 and used it daily for 2 years. Absolutely amazing quality. The freezer even kept ice cream frozen. Easily charges and runs on 12 volt. We let the unit store in our spare bedroom for 2 years and went to use it, but unfortunately it would not work. We contacted the company as it has a 5 year warranty. They have worked so well with us and resolved the problem immediately. Highly recommend this product and company!

VL45 - I have had this for about 4 weeks now, and I am testing it. The first week on 110v power as a refrigerator, then one week on my LiFePO4 power box on 12 volts as reefer, and for the last two weeks on the power box as a freezer at 5F. I filled it with contents from my home freezer, and everything is frozen rock hard like it should be. So far it has worked better than expected. The power draw on 12 volts is around 34 watts on the low setting, while running. The freezer temperature fluctuates about 4-5 degrees, which is normal for this type of equipment. The noise level is lower than expected. I can hear the cooling fan, but not the compressor. It was expensive but is well built.
