We bought this clock for the kids bedroom so they could read what time it is in the morning before they dash out when it is too early.It is silent - you can’t hear a thing which is perfect. We didn’t want the tick-ticking to sound it their bedroom.It does show in the dark initially very brightly but it does not last until morning. The energy absorbed during the day is not enough for it to keep lighting in the night. By the time it is morning it is dark and that function is lost. I regret buying it and will have to find another solution.

Very quick delivery, quiet, easy to read. Very pleased.*update - having used this for a few weeks it is not as quiet as first thought. Whilst there is no tick-tick noise, there is a constant thrum of the clock mechanism. So if you are expecting no noise it’s not going to work for you.

This is funky but simple. Artistic yet unadorned. Practical and silent, like me :D

I gave 3/5 stars as it’s not easy to read in the dark.Does look good on the wall, however I have returned, as my aim was to see a clock at night.

Clock was nice and quiet.

This clock worked perfectly as described for the first two weeks but ever since it has started ticking. I specifically chose this clock because it is described as silent, non-ticking however this is no longer the case unfortunately. The ticking is very loud but quietness when the second hand is between the two and the six then gets loud again which is very frustrating. Will be looking to contact the seller for a replacement.

I am using this clock in my kitchen and the figures are lovely and clear so very easy to tell the time in the evening.
