As far as water aerobics goes, it seems like it works. I was rushing and applied quickly so my hair wasn't secured properly. I did feel as thought it slid backwards slightly during class requiring me to tug it down, but it may again be because I didn't secure it properly. I'm not a lap swimmer but do submerge my head when I attempt to swim. After aerobics class, I swam for literally a few minutes, both basic forward stroke and I submerged for a few feet underwater. Results were better than expected. I thought with the shift, I would end up with a wet head of locks. Extreme edges were slightly damp and mean extreme edge of hair line. Not an inch, maybe a centimeter. The ends of my locks that weren't secured obviously got damp, but that was it! The rest stayed dry. Along the inner edge of the cap, there is a pebbled grip pattern- no more than a centimeter in width. Part of my hair was not secured behind this lip. So I'm hopeful with proper application, it will be a winner!Update!! Caution when using with freshly moisturized hair. It kept sliding and in my effort to adjust, it ripped. :(

I bought this because the speedo cap I have just won't stay on especially if I try to put conditioner in my hair before swimming (lucky to get a lap). For reference my hair is just a bit longer than shoulder length and medium thickness and lots of it. I Have used this twice so far, the first time I had my hair pulled back in a barrett and high pony and no conditioner. I swam for an hour and just adjusted it a couple of times. Second time I didn't have my hair pulled back with anything and put conditioner in. I swam 30 minutes and had to pull it back down aroun 5-6 times. Overall its a huge improvement from the regular ccap that I would end up pulling off before a single lap was done if I had conditioner. But I don't understand how anyone could swim and have dry hair as I read in one review.One negative is that the purple really isn't purple... it is a pink as the picture indicates but I had been hoping for an actual purple.

I bought this swim cap for my 7 year old who has extremely,long, thick, curly hair. I was concerned that it would either be too big, too small, or would allow too much water into the cap. I was wrong on all counts.It provides a great deal of room inside the cap for all of her hair. I simply put her hair into a ponytail, twist it us into an insecure bun,then put on the cap. It does require a little water to get it to go on easier.It stays on while she's swimming, jumping into the pool, whatever. It keeps most the water out.I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because it can tug on her hair a bit much. Sometimes it will leave the back of her neck red where it's pulled her hair. That she does not like. I'm continuing to try different ways if getting it on and off without pulling her hair so much.

It fits awkwardly on the head and doesn't do what it claims, which holds long hair in. It is super tight. I have order many swim caps for long hair in the past and this product doesn't live up to its claim!

Maybe I didn’t read enough comments. I thought I selected the correct one but I was wrong. It feels like it is good quality and I will update, but I needed a swim cap large enough for a box braid style and this didn’t fit. My daughter is a 9 yo and we swim almost daily. Good cap wrong fit.

Bought this because the Speedo swimcap I have was not working out will with weave / extensions hairstyle. So far so good. Stayed on with my goggles didn't pull off too much. Just like other reviews, the only part that stayed dry was my actual scalp area and not all of my hair. But honestly, that is a HUGE improvement.from my speedo swim caps. Haven't had an issue with tearing as others have. I have only had the opportunity to use it 2x so far. Should anything change I will give an update.

My daughter has tons of hair, we just can’t quite figure out how to make it stay low around her hair line, so about 1” of the direct hair like keeps getting wet

Le bonnet on la même taille qu’un bonnet de bain standard évêché une petite bosse. J’en ai commandé 4, 1 seul a survécu, ils se sont tous déchirés en quelques jours.

Bonnet assez grand pour recevoir une grande chevelure, mais pas étanche du tout, vos cheveux seront mouillés. Déception pour un bonnet qui au final coûtera 20euros.

Beau produit. Très pratique pour les cheveux longs et épais.
