I've had five different kitchen scales in five years. I like this one the best so far.The LED display is bright and easy to read. It turns on in under a second. I like that it only has three units of measure so it's quick to scroll through them. It also keeps the last unit you used when you power it up next time.The display updates very quickly when you add ingredients. If you are only adding 2 grams of an ingredient it updates quickly so you don't add too much before you know it.It's a clever nice looking design. The display and buttons are covered by the plastic shell, this should make it last longer. I've had other scales fail because the buttons or display get gunk in them.I've only had it a few days so I don't know how durable it is.

First off, ignore the mouth breathing idiots that say there is no screen. The LEDs that show the display are behind the plastic and shine through it once the scale is turned on. This keeps the surface uniform and easy to clean. I can only imagine the fools that say there is no screen are too stupid to even install the (included) batteries to see the unit turn on and this technological black magic blow their little minds.As for the actual scale: I think the size of the measuring surface could be larger, but that's all the cons I can name right now. Accuracy seems spot on, I put a graduated cylinder on the scale, tared, and filled it with 400ml of water and it displayed a little over 400g in weight; which is fine considering I just filled the cylinder from the faucet and didn't go for exact, I was just looking for accuracy within half a gram or so. For those that don't know water is 1g per ml (thank you metric system) and the scale performed as expected. The bowl that comes with it is the same size and shape as the scale itself and is used as a cover that fits quite nicely, although it doesn't snap into place so I'll likely put a rubber band on it to hold it.Will update this review if I find any issues.[UPDATE] Scale performed well while it worked, but in less than a year it has stopped working and will no longer power on. Everything from my initial review above still stands, but reduced the rating to one star as there's no reason for a scale to die in 7 months since purchase. Just will no longer power on.

I like the size of this scale, and that it allows me to store it securely in a drawer. Seems accurate as well. The problem is that after ordering this and setting it up I keep hearing a beeping noise randomly during the day and night. Turns out this scale keeps turning on unsolicited and calibrating or changing weight display options. This means that I have to take the batteries out after each use in order to preserve batteries and my sanity. Why? I am not happy with that at all, but it works and I hate the return process. Do yourself a favor and look for another kind without it this bug, unless that works for you.

What I love about it:Very accurate and quick to react to even tiny amounts being added to or removed from the vessel. Easy to read, turns on quickly, cleans easily and is just in general a good scale.What could be improved:.1g accuracy stops at 1000 grams or more.Shuts off fairly quickly if there is no use/change, which can be annoying.Overall, very good scale, highly accurate and dependable.

The slightest vibration -- like walking by the counter it is sitting on -- turns it on. It also turns off far too soon and often before we are finished weighing something.

I recently started weighing my food and I have been lookin for an easy to use scale. I have finally found it. I even compared this scales readings to a different scale and it is spot on. It is easy to clean as well which is a definite plus! Totally worth the purchase!

I really have no complaints at about this product. I'm on a very strict diet (watched over by my doctor) & I purchased the scale to measure my food accurately and it was very compact so it wouldn't always be in the way.
