How is this different than regular recycling bags?

well your picture on your profile is cute, so maybe I should purchase as a gift for you; anyway; in a regular recycling bag, I am not sure if you have transparent ones or not. If you have transparent ones, then I suppose you do not need to purchase these bags; if your regular recycling bags are not trsanparent, then I think having these transparent ones for shredded paper is worth it for me. The GBC stock bags are 30 gallons.

Can these bags be used more than once?

I would suppose it could be done but it would be difficult and we do not do it. They are paper and not heavy construction.
