MagnaFlow Catalytic Converter 99006HM: 2.5"/2.5" Inlet/Outlet, HM Grade, Universal Fit (EPA Compliant)

The old cat in my 1998 Chevy K1500 was pretty plugged. This is a super awesome product.Symptoms my truck was having that this product fixed:• Fixed my P0420 check engine light.• Improved performance and acceleration (previously, I would have to hold the gas pedal to the floor just to barely keep up with traffic in town)• Overall top speed on the interstate improved from 65mph to 80mph• Highway fuel mileage improved from 9MPG to 17MPG• Fixed rough idle• Fixed rattling noise under the cab (honeycomb in old cat had broken loose)InstallationThe installation was a breeze. It was a direct fit for my 1998 Chevy K1500. No cutting or welding was required, simply unbolt the two exhaust clamps and change it out.Overall I am very satisfied with this product. I would definitely buy this brand again.

Fit nearly perfectly in OEM location on my dodge dakota quad cab, heat shield facing the fuel tank as per OEM specs.Had it welded professionally, because this truck sees poor roads and hard miles, didnt trust clamps.Paired it with a  Magnaflow 18146 4" Diameter 26" Body Length 2.5" Inlet/2.5" Outlet Universal Glass Pack Muffler  which gives the truck a good deep, but not annoying exhaust note, especially at idle.Short term, i'm seeing about a 0.5 MPG average increase since installing the two... Truck already had an aftermarket performance intake.In addition, the truck passed emissions with a significantly better score then last year.Price-wise, the cat was less then HALF of the price quoted by the cheapest magnaflow dealer in town.Amazon got it here in 2 days, as usual.Very happy with the cat.

Product does work well as expected from magnaflow, however it's diameter and my exhaust diameter on my 03 trailblazer are exactly the same size. Good product, bad description. Hope this helps.

I Installed it on my 2001 F250 with the 5.4 triton. It was a good easy fit and way cheaper than the factory OEM. I would definitely buy it again if the need arises.

Great price on CAT. Store wanted $136 for their stock universal CAT. Had my 97 4runner on the shoulder on I95 near Baltimore and when I came back to get my truck some A hole stole my CAT. Drove it home bought this CAT and had a shop install it ( Too cold for me to mess with ) shop had to use adapters because this one was a little big. I thought $260 to install was a little high, but wife didnt want me to shop around. No check engine light :)

product did not fit truck even with all the questions onsite about make, model, engine size etc....still waiting for my refund ?? well past 14 days. NOT HAPPY with AMAZON (have a chat line, a contact, something, not sure I will be purchasing items over $200 anymore).

Used two to replace stolen converters on 2010 Silverado with a 6.0. no check engine light after 5k miles so I think these are great. Tight spaces welding these into this truck, expect to tack them in place and drop back out to do final welding.

Had this on my 2002 S-10 Blazer, after my stock catalytic converter finally died at 60k. I was just outside of the 8 year / 80k mile Federal replacement law, so I was on my own. OEM was roughly $800 for the parts alone, assuming I was able to free the rusted over bolts holding it in place by myself!For $75 bucks, I went with this. I did have to modify some junk pipes in order to fit this into my system, but 3 years and 77k miles later, I have yet to throw a code! I paired it with a 12268 Magnaflow muffler, and the sound was great! I felt some extra power, but there is really no helping a Chevy 4.3L afterall!Definitely worth a look...if you live in the 49 other states that accept this cat (sorry California!)

Works as it should. Wasn't an exact fit for 2004 Ford expedition 5.4l eddie bauer must have read it wrong. Shop had to do some tweaking cost me an extra 100 make sure it's the right fit. Came on time no complaints yet. Would recommend if looking for a cheap replacement.

Sent it back cheaply made very light and wouldn't take long to burn out is what the garage told me...
