A great stylus for the iPad
I bought this stylus for several uses - post-processing photos on the iPad, writing notes and psychological testing. What I liked about it immediately is that it feels like a standard pen or pencil in the hand - not to short and not too long. It seems to be well made and stand the test of time with frequent usage. I also find the micro-fiber tip to work very well on the screen, even with a heavy duty screen protector. It is silent to the touch so there is no tapping noise when writing. We are also planning to use it for psychological testing (Q-Interactive), which based on my experience so far, should be just fine. Aside from its functional qualities, its a very nice-looking pen as well.

Was perfect for me.
Pros:- Better than rubber tipped or cloth tipped styluses- Very effortless, smooth and accurate to write with.- Virtually no writing fatigue- Replaceable tips- Long lasting - I could kill a regular stylus in a week or two but I used this for a year straight with no hiccups.Cons:- I wish it would've come with at least one replaceable tip.- The tapping sound every time the stylus hit the screen is quite loud. It took some getting used to for me, but if you are somewhere quite then peopleWill never get used to it.Overall it was perfect for me having to write all day in a fairly loud classroom, so five stars.

OK stylus, but handwriting not precise
This is the second stylus that I have tried with my iPad 4. I was hoping that the microfiber tip and smaller size, would be superior to the first stylus I tried (a Targus stylus that I bought at OfficeMax.)However, it has been a disappointment overall, especially given the higher price for this stylus vs. the more basic rubber ones.Pros: Tip glides smoothly over the screen, no scratches. Touch response is fine; I have no issues using it with the keyboard or any apps other than handwriting. Quality of materials is nice.Cons: Handwriting is still very imprecise. I use Penultimate mainly; but it doesn't really matter which app I have tried, I still cannot read my own handwriting unless I make very large letters. So, if you want a nice stylus and don't want to use it for handwriting, this should serve you well. But if you really want to use your iPad to replace pen-and-paper notebooks, look elsewhere.

Works great...except on the iPad Air...
I bought this prior to the iPad Air coming out and even tested it on several products, including a iPhone 5 S, Galaxy Note 3 7" and Galaxy Note 10" and they all performed excellent. It's very different feeling than a rubber tipped stylus, as it allows for much lighter presses to use and doesn't 'drag' like rubber tips. In general, it feels much smoother for drawing or writing than rubber tips and it sold a friend of mine the second he tried it (bought it immediately). When my iPad Air arrived I was disappointed to discover that it does not work that well on the iPad Air. Since I didn't test it out on another iPad (only an iPhone 5 S) I'm not sure if this is an issue with the tech being used in all iPad's or if just something in the air was changed. Primarily, what I notice is that you have to press down firmly in order for it to work. Whereas on other products a very light tap or glide worked perfectly, on the Air you have to press pretty firmly, thus creating a similar 'drag' feeling that a rubber tipped stylus would have. Needless to say, I was disappointed at this and it has rather rendered this product unusable for needs with the Air. However, I still rate it 4 stars because it works perfect on many other products so I won't fault the product for not working well with just one single one.I'd likely have given it 5 stars for how well it works if it wasn't for the fact that personally I would have preferred to see this type of stylus in a 'full-sized pen' version. As it is now, it's more like a mini pen and if you have big hands or do not currently like small, pocket-sized pens then you may not like holding this in your hands either. Other than that, the material choice is nice and it's weighted decently - not heavy, but just substantial enough to know that it's there - and the silver version looks premium enough and not tacky in any way.Overall, if you're NOT using this for an iPad Air you will likely love this product. If you have an iPad Air, just beware that it doesn't work "as well" as it does on other products.

A Smooth Ride
I was looking for a stylus specifically for writing, and I do enjoy this one. I should also mention that when I do write, I wear a glove so that I can rest my palm on my iPad.If I want to write on my iPad with something that feels more like a heavy pen, I use a Jot Pro, and that sometimes feels like I'm abusing my screen protector. I've also tried writing with a cheap Targus stylus, and the drag on the rubber tip felt really uncomfortable, even straining on my hand (although I do like that drag feel when I'm swiping to read). I feel the same way about the Bamboo stylus. The TruGlide sits between the aforementioned accoutrements and indeed runs very smoothly on my screen protector. You have to press down on it a little, which deforms the soft mesh that sometimes squeaks when I use it. No, it's not as precise as a Jot Pro, but once I get going, I feel that the writing comes very naturally. My letter spacing is just a hair's breadth wider than when I use my Jot.Overall, I'm happy with this, and the feel of the tip on the screen is true to its name.
