Most versatile copper foil!
LOVE this copper! Patinas great with both liver of sulfur and/or vinegar and salt. Thin and soft enough to cut with metal shears but strong enough to hold its shape for tooling or stamping. Great product! I like that there is the option to purchase this in either the 5' or 10' length as I ran out of the 10' roll but didn't need quite so much to finish my project.

Great buy
This copper sheeting is a great buy. I am a beginner embosser and ordered this through Amazon because it was the best bargain I could find. I flattens out well when cut and pulled across a rounded straight edge. This copper is the perfect weight for embossing. This is the first copper sheeting I've bought so I do not have any previous experience to compare. To sum up: Perfect for small projects and I do not think you will find a better price anywhere!

Copper Metal Foil Sheet Roll 36 Gauge on Amazon.com
The 36 Gauge foil is thicker than most of the craft foil on the market which is a plus and also a minus. It is harder for manual cutters like the Big Shot and Grand Calibur to cut it, and overall it's worth having to cut it as a single piece. The added thickness gives more substance to any die cuts as they are not so flimsy. The craft foil from this Seller is high quality regardless of whether it's the copper or the colored aluminum foil. The aluminum is thinner as it is 38 Gauge and is the thickness recommended for most manual die cutting machines on the market like the Big Shot and especially the Grand Calibur by Spellbinders.I'm very pleased with these Sellers' products and will be back later.

Love this stuff
I used this copper as inserts in my deck posts that were made of ipe (Pau Lope) wood. First, I glued the copper onto an outdoor rated 1/4 inch plywood with 3M's Spray 77. Then I took a small upholsterer's hammer and put a few hundred taps in the copper to make it look hammered - very easy to do. I put no finish on the copper because I couldn't find one that would last in our northern Ohio weather. But so far I love the look and I'm sure it will continue to age like copper always does. This was a very inexpensive choice for such a classy looking (in my opinion) project. I will buy more from this supplier.

Cut into strips to put around my hostas as a slug barrier. Works great, appears from the road the plants are in custom pots.

Coppertastic for your projects.
I use this copper sheeting in many of my woodworking projects. I create corner protectors to add some style to my pieces. This is a good malleable thickness for working like this. It is at least three times as thick as heavy duty Aluminum foil. So it is thick enough to be bent and formed and stay that way, yet not too thick to make it hard to work with. It can be cut with a decent pair of scissors, or scored once or twice with a knife and then bent to break apart perfectly. I use Copper tacks to fasten it and they add a nice touch. Not my first order and I'll be back for more.

Love this stuff
Love this stuff. I haven’t tooled metal in a very long time and this is a great product. It’s very responsive and I’m looking forward to ordering more once I use up this roll.Update: This is my go-to Metal for all my embossing. I absolutely love it. I prefer this over the aluminum and pewter as it is stronger.

Copper Foil for Inexpensive Yet Upscale Cabinet Door Inserts
This is my super-inexpensive yet beautiful way to get copper inserts for my bathroom cabinets. The cheapest alternate method would have cost approx. $275. I'm using this to cover lightweight board, which I'm setting inside the doors as insert. I'm leaving the natural copper as is, but could treat it chemically if desired, to get a green or blue, etc. patina. The method for attaching the copper foil to boarding is online and is easy, even for amateurs like me!
