Great for videographers/photographers!
As a videographer who also doesnt like being cooped up in the house, this laptop has been a godsend for smaller projects. Battery life is standard when just browsing around, but I only get an hour or so out of it during standard editing workloads. This is to be expected and I always bring the charger with me. Screen is really quite brilliant (from what I understand, superior over macbook screens.) In most instances this laptop can handle my GH5s 4k footage with ease, even with heavy color grading over VLOG. It has fantastic rendering optimization with its GTX 1650 as well. I bought mine with 16gb of RAM and almost always max out on memory when going back and forth between premiere/after effects, but similar to the battery problem this was expected and I can always upgrade to 32/64gb in the future.

Exactly what you need
Does everything without you thinking about it's performance. I edit 6k and 4.6k timelines in RAW, without terrible stutter or crashes. Rendering speed is fine about a 2:1 ratio. Color is not 100% accurate as it is advertised I would say more 99%, the saturation is too high on the base settings. Other than that worth every penny

Decent Laptop but not as powerful as Specs would make it seem
Have used this for about a year. Mehhhhhh. Its manageable. And gets the job done for mid range editing and day to day tasks. Power management system is terrible. Sleep mode basically doesn't work. And it's terrible for gaming.Overall, not too bothered I bought it but not sure I'll get another.

This is a high quality laptop
This is an excellent computer for podcasting, zooming, and even some gaming activities. As advertised, it is not for high end gamers. You guys need a gaming certified system. For everyone else, this laptop is great.

Ordered new laptop, received already used, broken laptop
I ordered this expensive item expecting to get a brand new laptop. On my order details from Amazon the Condition = New.When I received the item, the screen kept blacking out while using the laptop. I went through a two hour process of calling to figure out the issue. While Amazon was very kind and helpful, I can not speak highly of Dells customer service. My first Dell employee tried to walk me through troubleshooting and fixing the issue. After many attempts over an hour and a half they all failed to work. Then she hung up on me in the middle randomly. It was extremely rude and I felt disrespected. I think she was frustrated in me asking so many questions. The second Dell representative looked up the CPU pin and we found out that it had been registered by another persons email!! The laptop was already 43 days old and I had owned it for 3!!!! There was no need to troubleshoot. The issue may have stemmed from the previous owner. When I looked at the box that it came in, the From address read “Dell Returns”.When spending $1800 on a laptop, I expect a brand new, fully working laptop. I felt extremely disrespected that Dell would send me an already used and already RETURNED laptop for that price. Then I spoke with an Amazon representative who thought I wanted to exchange the item. I explained that I would rather buy one in person, untrusting after my experience with that much money in play. She kindly agreed with me and processed a full refund for me.In conclusion, Amazon customer service rep was wonderful and helpful. Dell, on the other hand, may have lost a customer as I will look elsewhere for my next laptop.

Mixed Feelings
I’ve had this specific version since Oct 19, 2019. As an upgrade from a Dell XPS 13.Very mixed feelings. I do a lot of photo/video editing daily. The fingerprint reader is Lightning fast. The screen is beautiful. Love the keyboard. Adobe apps run decent on this. I’ve also tried gaming, awesome, fairly surprised at how good it is.But on the other hand, this thing can easily feel like an oven and sound like a train. I have to put a cooling pad and even a normal fan pointed towards it to avoid it getting to that point. Which means if I don’t have the cooling pad with me when I travel, I’m very limited to how much time I can be on it. The battery only lasts me about close to an hour. And when I charge it, it heats up like crazy too and unusable pretty much.If it wasn’t for this being an oven apart from a laptop, It’d be such a great system. Regardless, I work with what I have and make the best out of it.I’ll be moving on to a new Apple MacBook Pro laptop soon.

It is quick
My needs are simple but I wanted and agile responsive computer. It certainly is that and the OLED screen is fantastic.
