It's hard to find the right pressure to get the buttons to function while pressing down on them, so it takes a while to get the thing turned on and to change modes. A regular press doesn't register - and sometimes pressing down hard doesn't register either. It's very frustrating. I don't know if it's just the one I received or if it's just poorly designed.I did get the Bluetooth to work once I did manage to turn it on and switch modes, but that's as far I got - it was too difficult to toy around with to see what the other features do. The sound quality is decent for what you're getting. But it needs to be easier to use.

I bought 2 of these, one worked perfectly, the other wouldn't charge correctly and after changing plus, it did charge but then the soft key buttons had to be pressed really hard to get it to play music. Overall glad I didn't;t pay much but very disappointing as it was a gift

I love using the Bluetooth feature on this adorable flower pot for my classroom. My students stated, "That is the coolest speaker I have ever seen!" earlier today. Many were very excited to see that it lit to the beat as well. It was a little tricky to figure out the Bluetooth at first, but within 5 minutes of reading instructions and playing around I figured it out. I opted to put a fake plant in mine for ease, but it is super adorable and functional. The sound is great for my classroom while the students are working. Love it!

I have ordered these before and even bought some from the factory in YiWu and they were great. so, i have experience with the product. Both of the planters i purchased were defective. One played music for only a short time and then turned off. Then neither of the planters would respond to holding the on button for 3 seconds. They were fully charged. i will purchase again on next trip to China but never from this vendor.

Super cute and easy gift idea. Definitely worth the purchase price of under $10. Purchased one as a gift for a coworker and she uses it every day!
