Good value for money! I know other reviews say that these bobbins are thin. I dont find that the case. These are thicker than the floss bobbins from Joann's that come in Joann's sleeve holders. I've been embroidering and cross stitching for 50 yrs and find these floss holders good. Yes, they are cut a bit deep where the floss is anchored, but if you are careful these holders are just fine! Very happy with my purchase. These are a great value compared to the price in craft stores.

They will do.One reviewer said they were 2 thin, but I ordered them anyway figuring if they were really to thin for the price I can glue 2 together.If you are careful when winding they will work just fine.

For what they’re used for, they’re acceptable - just winding embroidery thread. They are made of very thin cardboard - or maybe very thick paper. If you’re not careful you could rip the snipped thread keeper part. At first I thought they were great but after winding many skeins, I noticed two to three were sticking together and that’s why I thought they were more sturdy. So when I separated them, I felt they were too flimsy.Overall, not the best but certainly not the worst.

Not too flimsy for a cardboard bobbin. The slits are a bit longer than I’d like which makes the cardboard in between them tend to fold down. You basically get a lifetime supply in this package so I hope that doesn’t start to annoy me in 40 years. So far so good.

Having recently started embroidery, I have developed an addiction to the pretty colours of thread and find it difficult to get these cardboard spools locally. This should last me a long time. Very cost effective and came quickly.

They are alot better then the plastic ones because you can writes numbers on the paper ones

I love these, they’re inexpensive and it’s easy to keep my embroidery floss organized.
