Encased OnePlus 7 Pro Belt Clip Holster Case (Scorpio Armor) Ultra Tough Grip Cover with Holder for One Plus 7 Pro (Gunmetal)

Update March 2023:When I first reviewed this case I had worn it for 13 months. It failed 12 months later, so it lasted 25 months. I replaced it with another of the same make and model, and that one lasted 15 months. The attached photo shows where it failed, where the clip attaches to the holster. Two days before it fell apart, the rotation of the clip became very loose; no detent action any longer. So I guess that's an important clue that the clip is getting ready to fall off. I can't see any way to repair it, so I'm buying yet another one of these cases here on Amazon. I wear this case all the time I'm awake, so it certainly gets a workout. Getting in and out of vehicles is hard on it, as is the construction work I sometimes do. It's a very good case.I always wear my smartphone on my belt; have done so for many years. So every time I get a new phone (every 3-5 years), I need to get a new holster. Some brands have worked out better than others. This Encased brand holster and armored case is working great so far; I've had it for two months. The case does get scuffed where it rubs against a pocket knife I keep clipped in my left pocket; but that means it's protecting the phone from damage. I've dropped it from a low height, about 24" off the ground, and naturally it held up fine. I find the weakest point on belt-clip holsters is the belt clip itself. This one uses a steel pin and hefty hinge ears; it looks like it will survive things like getting caught on the door jam when exiting the car. The armored case fits my OnePlus 7 Pro perfectly, yet is fairly easy to remove if necessary.

Great build quality. As some mentioned it would be nice if it slipped in/out of clip a little easier but it's good to know once it's in there it isn't going anywhere. Swivel is nice as well. The clip is durable and case is not bulky. Dropped it a couple of times already and it protected it well.

Update: The case rubs the front camera when it extends and retracts. I actually cut my case so that the front camera no longer touches any part of the case. I think this is a necessity in order to preserve the longevity of the popout camera.I am unable to unclip the phone with one hand. This makes unholstering the phone a bit awkward. Especially if you you're holding anything.Original:This is an excellent case and it's a really good deal. I'd say it's the best case from Amazon for the OnePlus 7 Pro. It is far better quality than the Otter Box clips and cases available for iPhone. It's not the most elegant case for such a sophisticated phone, but it's rugged and we'll protecting.

I've never had this brand before. Just got a new phone that cost a fortune. This case is really solid. I have no doubt that it will protect the phone if dropped. The style is different from anything I've had. It has a movable clip at the top to grip the phone. I'm always worried about moving parts breaking. I'll know over time. Very secure. Its a bit slick for my taste. I would prefer the backside grippy pattern all over. I'm very careful and have not dropped it yet, but I'm still cautious. Its a bit more expensive than some of the cases, but isn't your phone worth it? So far, its rock solid. Update 3aug22. Case finally broke right where I expected: top clasp. Not the belt clip. I pulled the clasp n it just broke off. Lasted 1 yr 9 mths. Super case though. I caught my phone while cleaning windshield on my Raptor. Phone bounced off the seat back onto the cushion, I to the floor n then down several feet into concrete. Not a scratch. Phone was fine. I ordered another. Does the job better than any other case Ive owned.

Great case for the price! My hubby loves it! Not only does it looks classy but is also good quality. Looks like a brand new phone now! Has had it for 3 weeks now and seems to be just fine.
