920D Custom 5-way Wiring Harness with Coil Splits for Ibanez RT/RG Guitars

Know what you are getting going in or you will be sitting there with a wiring harness that will require serious mods to your guitar. First, you will likely need to route your control holes to work with the 3/8" size CTS and Bourn's pots, next you likely have a barrel jack and this comes with a standard jack so plan to unsolder and use your original. Lastly, I had to bend all of the pins on the outer side of the blade switch because they were touching the cavity and grounding out the switch. I installed this in a brand new RG721RW and I've done a lot of work on guitars...this is not a job for a novice! If you are interested in upgrading your electronics on your Ibby you would be better off buying individual CORRECT parts or paying a reputable tech! Having said all that, like other 920D harnesses I've purchased, the parts and soldering are all top notch...I've installed them in other guitars where they are truly drop in replacement. I think 920D would do well to examine the specs of most Ibanez guitars because this setup will not work for any RG, RT or Jem that I know of without serious surgery.

Its going to be better than the stock Indonesian electronics. I'm happy regardless but its says made in the USA when clearly Cts is made in Taiwan. Assembled in the USA be honest now.
