Great design and easy to use. Low setting works but takes a slower pass to straighten. Can use a bit faster pass to get a general clean look. High temp works a little faster and provides a very straight hair look. The comb part has just the right amount of grab to it and keeps the heat away from your skin. My older ones weren’t so nice. This size is much better also. Easier to use on beard and if you just comb through it like you would with a regular brush, you end up with a nice straight, longer looking beard. Small enough to use on mustache too. All in all, very pleased with product after several months of use. Case not heat resistant so be careful heating it up and letting it cool down. Would be nice to have a heat resistant pad to place on like another one I have. If you lay a weighted object over handle while heating/cooling, it will keep the head portion up off the counter so as not to burn.

This product is great. It heats up quickly, it straightens my hair. It doesn't pull on my hair. I was worried about the heat so close to my skin, but it feels great - like a blanket right out of the dyer. Cord is a great length, and it's super useful that the cord rotates.If I had to make any changes, I would make it longer, and wider. This would enable it to be used for regular-non-beard-hair better and overall faster at straightening. Also, the tip of the brush isn't as protected from heat as the main part, but that's something that cannot really be helped- every straightener has that issue (according to my wife).Overall, highly recommend it if you're curious about straightening your hair. The price makes it a good buy-in so you can try it out.

Immediately I would recommend the product for the 1.5 inch to 4inch beard length. Anything longer would take too long to brush through and straighten.This product fits the bill! No long wait time for the heat to get to max temperature. You can breeze through your beard front to back in just a few short minutes. It stays soft and straight all day.My only issue with this product is the storage aspect. There really isn't a best/good way to store it as it cools down. The shape of the brush makes it strange when keep the hot portion off counter tops or other things that could melt or damage due to the heat.Can't beat the value of this product. They are good at responding to you via e-mail as well. around a 3 or 4 day wait.

The Straightener should not be used to dry hair. It even explains this in the instructions. You will burn hair. Once warmed up the straightener seems to work well. It does take awhile to warm up. For those attempting to straighten all hair pin straight -- IT IS BEARD HAIR. BEARD HAIR DOES NOT NORMALLY STRAIGHTEN LIKE WOMEN HAIR.More concerning was the promotional "gift" slid into the packaging from the seller. It took a little bit longer than I thought it would to heat up, but it’s really done a great job on making my husbands beard smoother and straighter. It didn’t seem to do much the first time we used it, but the more he’s used it, a better job it’s done. Definitely worth the money. It gets really hot, it’s very travel convenient, and I like the carry bag it comes in. I also tried it in my hair. It doesn’t get my hair(shoulder length/thin/very naturally wavy) completely straight, but I don’t blame the product because nothing except except a normal flatiron has ever worked on straightening my hair. It definitely DOES make my hair smoother though!!

After seeing a bunch of ads for much more expensive beard straighteners on social media, I came to Amazon instead and found this item for a fraction of the price and couldn't be happier! It has a great feel to it (doesn't feel cheap or chintzy), it's small, compact, easy to use, has the two temperature settings for different hair types, and I love how the cord swivels around to keep it from tangling. Best of all, it actually works VERY WELL! Me and my wallet couldn't be happier for a product I didn't know I needed but ended up loving! THANKS!

Not really a beard straightener. I've been using it for over a month now and my first impression is it's just OK. It burns my face as I use it and you can smell the hair burning as it singes. As a matter of fact, I use this to trim my beard because it burns off the excess which I'm sure is not the real purpose. Don't expect miracles.Update: 12/17/2021...I stopped using this for a while but then started again. I can not recommend this. The heated pins used to straighten my beard started to fall out. I'd say I've used this maybe 30 times? One landed on my shoulder and about gave me 2nd degree burns until I quickly brushed it off. Ouch! Have used it 3 times recently and every time 3 or 4 of these break off. You'd be better off using some kind of hair gel and then combing it straight. No heat, no issues just a straight beard and hair.

Since we have been in quarantine my husband decided to let his beard grow. He became frustrated with it because it grows out wiry and looks scruffy, so I bought him this brush and it makes all the difference! It's hot enough to straighten the beard if you comb through it slowly, but it does not burn his face. His beard looks cleaner with his hair evenly combed down. It doesn't stick out all over the place. He uses it every morning now before going to work, and it doesn't take him long to comb his beard. I definitely recommend if you are trying to tame the beard. It is a good price and works great.
