J-B Weld is The Original Cold Weld two-part epoxy system that provides strong, lasting repairs to metal and multiple surfaces. Mixed at a ratio of 1:1, it forms a permanent bond and can be shaped, tapped, filed, sanded and drilled after curing. At room temperature, J-B Weld sets in 4-6 hours to a dark grey color. A full cure is reached in 15-24 hours. J-B Weld has a tensile strength of 3960 PSI and sets to a hard bond overnight. It can withstand temperatures up to 550ºF when fully cured.

Very durable adhesive
I needed this type of adhesive to repair a fiberglass statue, one made by a local artist. The statue is hollow and was mounted on a single metal rod that protruded through a 1/4" thick wood base that had been cemented inside the statue's hollow leg by the artist that made it. The wood base cracked. I replaced it with a piece of 1/4" aluminum that I bought from on-line metals and cut the the exact dimensions. I mounted the original bracket to the aluminum and used the weld to secure the aluminum to the fiberglass inside the statue's leg. It worked great. This stuff is excellent for attaching dissimilar materials (but it is not nearly as strong as a true weld which could not have been used here, of course)

This is a standby
I use the slower one as I can take my time getting everything set up correctly before clamping/screwing, etc.Easy to mix and because of its slow set up time if you underestimate how much you need to finish the job there is time to mix up another batch.

Strong and effective adhesion
Used this to repair a rusted railing that was reattached to a concrete step with concrete screws and angle irons with the epoxy coating the hardware and lower 4 inches of railing upright. Built a dam around the base 2x5x3/4" high and filled in the dam rigidly securing the base of the railing upright to the concrete. Pained with a Rustoleum primer & paint. Railing was painted steel 1x1 square tube and will now last another 50+ years.

Excellent epoxy
Good adhesion, cured material is quite strong - can be drilled and filed. Needs a fairly long cure time.

The Best Epoxy on the Market...but a long cure time
This is by far the strongest most versatile epoxy on the market. The only draw back is the long cure time...not like the 5 minute cure time of other products. Need to use a clamp or to make sure the items you are gluing together does not move, but once it is cured the JB Weld is extremely strong. If you have the time, there is no substitute.
