Bioenno Power BLF-1212AS 12V 12Ah LFP LiFePO4 Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery - 20A Max

This is a very durable and easy to maintain alternative to gel cell type batteries. I routinely use this to power a 100 watt portable ham radio transceiver along with a 30 watt 2 meter FM transceiver. This has been a great battery and has never given me an ounce of trouble or let me down in any way. I charged the battery from a regulated bench supply at 14.6 volts so that the BMS can properly balance the cells. I highly recommend this battery to anybody's looking for a high performance battery for any application. the only downside is it does not have a tremendous amount of short circuit current capability. It will pass 20 amps for not more than two seconds continuously before the BMS shuts It off. The duty cycle of a single sideband radio use for voice transmissions will not trip the BMS.if you're using this battery for a digital mode I would set your output power so that you are drawing less than 15 amps or maybe slightly more, because otherwise the BMS will trip and disconnect the battery from the load. I certainly don't think it would work well to try to use a hundred watts of output power running a digital mode in single side band. Rtty, ft8, psk31 etc. Have too high of a duty cycle to run a hundred Watts which is battery.
