Fits '03 E46 MFG Date 11-22
Seems like BMW was doing some experimenting with the light sockets around my manufacturer date. I could not find the right socket anywhere for my model year. My car is a 2003 model, manufactured in Nov-22.Even though this part was not a "fit" it was the closest I could find with stock. I took a chance. This unit fits a clear bulb, is the right size and shape. It also fists into the lens assembly. However the fastening ears are clocked wrong and the connector ends up in the wrong place. I notices I could get 2 ears in with the right orientation.So long story short, I transferred the gasket/seal, docked one of the ears, and inserted in the correct orientation for the connector. Very solid fit, and should last another 3 years until the prong corrodes and needs to be replaced again.I'm giving it 5 stars because it was in stock, delivered in a reasonable amount of time. Built well enough to handle a slight mod. Moving the gasket wasn't even a very big deal.

This is a good OEM like replacement part for BMWs. When installing it in my E46, it fit snugly without any issues - a testament to URO's quality and attention to detail. One key tip: make sure to cross-reference your vehicle's VIN on RealOEM to get the right part number, as the coupe and sedan use different bulb socket fittings.

Said it fit. Does not fit. Really bummed, wasted $12. Not shipping it back because it’d cost that to get it shipped back. 😐🤷♀️

Perfect fit and works fine
Had the “fast blinker” and front drivers side light warning on dash . Purchased new pair of bulbs. Installed new bulb and problem remained. Swapped known good bulb from passenger side in case new bulb was bad and problem still persisted. BMW makes it easy to remove bulb assembly and associated socket with a little patience and searching for a good how to video. Old socket was worn. Ordered and Installed this replacement and works great. While I had them out replaced bulbs for both sides as they were same age original bulbs (19 years old). Used quality replacement bulbs and bulb grease so should last another 19 years.
