Works well
This worked well , my husband wears a size 12 shoe and this worked for him, he has trouble bending so longer handles would be helpful but, much simpler then fighting the support socks by hand. There were no instructions in the box, the box was in really bad shape and the handle was exposed and slightly scratched but it didn’t affect the usability of the product. I would recommend this product. We watched a video on how to use.

Medi butler
If you wear compression socks or hose you need one of these. I can put both socks on in less than 8 seconds. I was fighting putting on compression socks out if breath, having to take a breather before even one was on. Even using the plastic bag trick. Then I thought there has got to be a better way, after researching I found the medi butler. After the very first try and the sock slid on I just sat back and said thank you God.I would give this 100 stars if I could.

Works but eish for wider model and longer handles.
I have CMT disability and it's hard to grip my compression socks to put them on. I tried another sock aid that was plastic and it snapped. So I found this, a metal one. Pretty durable. My reason for 4 stars is its hard to use. I have a wide foot so it's kinda hard to get my foot in. Says it's made in America but it seems to be for small Japanese feet. So I deducted 1 star. Also the handle is short. I'm not flexible so I have to find a cable to use to help. If this were in a wider model and attachable handles extentions, it would be perfect. I can still use this though.

This was a game changer for me!!
I used to struggle putting on my compression socks and I mean STRUGGLE!! I couldn't get them high enough on my leg and by the time I got them on, the arthritis in my fingers was killing me. And if I put lotion on my legs... forget it...it was impossible. The stocking butler has changed all of that. No more sore fingers and my stocking are positioned just right on my legs. I even sent a link to the administrator at the senior facility where my mother-in-law lives and she is going to get a butler to help her nursing assistants.

Not that helpful, in my opinion.
Thigh highs didn't work well on device. when placed on butler in accordance with video, the stocking slid off before my foot even slipped in. It was easier to just put it on without the device.

Does not work well on large legs
I liked the premise of this item and I am certain it will work well for someone with a thinner leg. I have large calves, I am not obese 5'3" , 150lbs). Using this item to put on the socks did not work. I could put my foot in easy enough...and slide it up a bit of the way...but trying to pull it up past my calves was not possible. I think your leg needs to fit comfortably between the metal bars for this to work effectively. Perhaps if it came in a larger size. I also had to use all my strength to maneuver and pull. This would not work well with a senior who might have limited strength or someone after surgery, with swollen legs and/or has limited range and strength.

Labor saver
I'm new to the necessity of wearing compression socks. Each morning I've struggled with getting them on taking much of my time. I saw this device on YouTube so I was all in for giving it a go. Today was my first day of using it and I'm pleased to say all went well. I plan to add more ease to the whole process by purchasing and using rubber donning gloves (sold also by Amazon). These gloves make the handling of the socks easier, in this case when sliding the socks down the stirrup of the butler. There's also a YT video on them. Since the socks are now going be a fact of life, why not make it as easy as possible?
