Desktop TDP Far Infrared Heat Lamp for Mineral Therapy

I love this thing! It warms my body instead of warming the room like forced air does. I use it to keep me warm on cold nights, and to warm my hands while I am working during the day. I have Raynaud's, which cuts circulation to my hands and toes and makes them cold, painful, and sometimes numb. This heat emitter warms my hands/feet and restores circulation. I wish I had bought it earlier.I do wish that it had a bigger emitter head; it covers a relatively small area and you do have to be very close. Also, it's a little hard to aim it in the right direction. But it really does exactly what it says, and works so well.

The timer did not work and there is barely any heat coming from this supposed heat lamp. Otherwise it is built quite sturdy and functions quite well as a paper weight.

I use this lamp daily in the morning to relieve pain and stiffness from osteoarthritis in my knees. You can use it on other parts of the body, too.

I was diagnosed as complex regional pain syndrome. My hands constantly tingled and got swollen. The doctor performed two nerve blocks which calmed down most of the symptoms. Then, I used this product hoping that it would relieve some stiffness on the hands. After one treatment, all the nerve tingling came back and this time it's worse. If you have any damaged nerves or overactive nerves, don't use this. It may work for other conditions, but not for nerves. I wish the seller posted a warning about this matter...

I received my TDP lamp yesterday and so far so good. It comes fully assembled, just plug in and go. Turn the timer, wait 10 -15 minutes for it to preheat and enjoy.I am very familiar with these lamps from my acupuncturist office. TDP lamps go beyond infra-red lamps, as they emit ions of minerals our body needs and the wavelength or frequencies are identical to our own body's energy, replenishing Qi. Please excuse my attempt in explaining this in layman's terms. I am neither a scientist nor an MD.While most people probably use these to treat arthritis or muscle pains, I actually direct this lamp right on my belly. As a sufferer from Hashimoto's hypothyroidism, this helps my feeling of coldness a LOT. The heat is gentle, yet penetrates deep inside my body. A 15-30 minute treatment leaves me feeling nice and warm for hours, sometimes through the next day.My digestion is also very poor, and this is supposed to help with that as well. We will see if it makes a difference after 8-10 treatments.

Product is great and shipped as is. Easy to use and carry around. Fits in my suitcase when I have to travel around to see patients.

I have two of these, for my birds - one for night and one for day, each one is on for atleast 8 hours and they last and last. I bought these for them since I have a larger one that I use constantly for myself, and it keeps the chills and stomach aches and so much more - at bay. I've had to replace the head on my larger one quite a lot, but these two have held up perfect so far.

This lamp, while probably not professional quality, is a good one and certainly worth the money. The heat produced is very soothing and relaxing and does relieve muscle pain.The only complaint I have is that it takes quite a while to heat up.
