Sony Playstation 3 160GB Video Game Console (Fat) (Renewed)

I bought this for a friend who loved it. He got deported yesterday and can’t take it with him. So sad. He was such a good guy. Anyway, the PS3 worked great. We played the game Papers Please, until ICE showed up.

Advertise as a 160, but only 140.Works well.

Ordered a "fat" PS3 with PS2 support. Not only is this NOT ps2 compatible but there is no SD reader. The old bait and switch. I'll change my review when I get my money back. Seller has multiple complaints about consoles/games being received and not working. Seems to be a pattern. I just spent a year tracking my old PS2 games down just to put them in and find out this ps3 does NOT have the PS2 mobo/reader in it. UPDATE Sep 2024- Amazon gave me my $$$ back and issued a strike against seller after researching other reviews. If you want sellers username contact me, this way you can avoid them. Already posted on Reddit and got 200+ messages asking me for the user name. I won't be using Amazon refurbished again. Got a Fat backwards compatible PS3 on eBay for $175 with cables and 1 game. It's been 1 month and the console works perfectly. Be warned shoppers!

Works great everything truly does. I think some of the consoles they give have the true fat boy console with backwards compatibility, but others don't. Sadly I was one who didn't get one. I googled and everything lead me to three sources and I trusted amazon to be one because some comments say compatibility with past games. Sadly this is very misleading as in the gaming community fat boy ps3 is known for that. Very misleading taking advantage of a community knowing they would fall for it. Should be ashamed.

I bought this PS3, because I thought it was backwards compatible. It is not. The guy in the email said that he'll give me a refund. I sent the PS3 back about 2 weeks ago. I tried to reach out to him via phone, and he hasn't called back. I tried to reach him via email, and he hasn't replied back. This is starting to sound like a scam.

Was not backwards compatible like other comments said it was. Controller lasted less than a day.
