does this have a synthetic fragrance?

Great question and to be honest, without reading the label (I took it off and tossed it) and with little thought of what we are actually breathing in, I am ONLY GUESSING that it may very well be synthetic. In fact, my open floor plan, these just don't work well. Thank you for making me aware of synthetic fragrances! Much appreciated

How long does this last once opened?

Depending on how big you open the crack to let the scent out, and I live in very dry climate, and how big of area you place it, about 2 weeks

Has anyone tried these in their car?

I think that would probably be overwhelming in a small space.

Be practical, folks.........

Understand that you can raise or lower the "curtain" on these "cones". Depending on the size of your room(s), the amount of odor you may have, and the also the amount of "breeze" flowing through your rooms. These work perfectly for my small home (1,200 sq. ft). I do live in the windy Salinas valley of California. The airflow (doors open,windows open, etc) will make a dent in the how long these last. I have noticed some I placed near windows or doors will fade out quicker. Those I have placed farther from "airflow" seem to last longer. Accordingly, the more you "open" these fresheners, the more scent results and they will naturally fade quicker wherever you place them. I have one under my bench seat in my F-150 truck . I have it barely open and it stays fresh and "scenty", even with kids and car parts. Placing one on top of your toilet will also benefit. Overall, a fabulous deal when you consider each lasts nearly a month, depending on usage. I also appreciate not having to use up one of my electrical plugs!

Nice smell..if you like this style container

Nice smell. Frustrating container to open to release smell. Like most of this type, the actual gel is much smaller than container.

Smells Wonderful!

The air freshener is excellent! It works in all areas and doesn't require electricity. It smells good for weeks and covers a large area!

Smell is very mild

Not worth buying as I have 3 in my kitchen which is attached to our garage. After being gone 3 different times for at least 3 to 6 hours... there was no change in smell. I thought by paying more for Clean Citrus it would be better then the others. I finally did try it in my closet and it works better in a small enclosed area.

Smells refreshing!

I really like the smell of this air freshener. I'm waiting to see just what the 2X means - if the air freshener itself lasts twice as long or if the scent lasts extra long. Couldn't find an explanation in the description.
