Why did you choose this product over others?:I already have a Texpeed winter jacket and have found it to be good value .Style:Looks good ,nice colour (blue) better than some jackets costing 4x the price.Comfort:Very comfortable nice fit I'm 44 " and XL is spot on.Lightweight:Not the lightest jacket I've tried . Pockets:2 nice zip up pockets out side + 2 inner and phone pocket.Protection:Shoulder and elbow + back protection lots of companies charge another £30 for this Fxxxx liberty. Lining:Good zip out lining which includes arms as well nice touch.

Had a few leather biker jackets but will now stick with this brand, textile material is much lighter and more comfortable as well as cooler in summer. I am very pleased with everything about this jacket.It looks and feels like a quality item fits really well and looks good. It's versatile because you can remove the thermal liner, which has long sleeves as a bonus, and any armour you don't need. I say this because I always find the back plate uncomfortable which is the only reason I gave `comfort` a 4 star rating which is not the companies fault but mine. All the fasteners are quality and it is very warm and windproof. I am a hobby rider so hope not to test the rainproof quality but judging from the rest I'd trust it. So bottom line is "Do not be tempted to buy an inferior `fashion` jacket they are not much cheaper but do not compare."

This bike jacket arrived today and I am pleasantly surprised with the quality and the selected size.My main concern, having bought several other motorcycle jackets in the past that I was very disappointed and annoyed with, was that this jacket would follow suit and turn out to be another waste of money. Thankfully this is not the case on this ocassion.My small overall opinion of the "L" Texpeed Bike Jacket:Sizing: The "L" sizing fits me perfectly, it has a nice length on the arms and it doesn't feel too restrictive, maybe once it has been ran in a little it should loosen up. Putting it on is really easy and not a fuss. The zip at the front feels sturdy, durable and having only one zip to zip up is great too!Warmth test: I went for a quick ride out on my bike with the jacket and it handles the wind absolutely fine, but I have yet to test in wet conditions. However I do feel confident in that it will keep me dry, but without any actual mileage and testing in that environment it's hard to say how well it would perform. (I will update my review again in the near future!).Protection: The jacket has 2 elbow and 2 shoulder pads and a back pad. The shoulder pads are mostly on the sides of your arms and not on top, personally I think this is better, but its personal preference. There is a slight curvature on the shoulder pads that squares-off your shoulders but your tricep has some protection as well.Functionality: The two outer pockets are good sized, I can just about fit my Samsung S22+ phone in there and the 3 inside pockets are as well. There's more than enough storage capacity for your small items, e.g. cards, keys, money, phone, earbuds/pods etc...I gave this product a 4* review simply because there is always room for more improvement, not big or huge improvements in all honesty, but it's the odd thing here and there. It's difficult to explain properly in a review what small things need improving, you just need to try it out yourselves and you will discover things that could be a little better. I think this jacket for a beginner rider, or maybe even for an experienced rider as well this jacket would do the job just fine. It does the bare minimum and little extra whilst offering good-to-great quality at an affordable price. That is a Win-Win in my mind.Also, I know all of this could be totally different for anyone else looking to buy, so double-check other buyers reviews and read product descriptions properly so you don't buy something that will not make you or your wallet empty.(I will attach some photos for better representation of the jacket)

Jacket was as described. It is well made, comfortable to wear and certainly keeps out the chill. Sizing chart was, for me, spot on. Certainly waterproof although not yet worn in really heavy rain, however, I have no reason to believe that it won't perform as it should. I consider this jacket to be very good value

Ordered but to small did not get full refund.Very unhappy

The sizing is wrong, order 1 or 2 sizes up if you're planning in wearing anything other than a t shirt underneath. It's a really nice jacket otherwise. Keeps me very warm on my hour long commute to work everyday. Today I got caught in a flash rain storm and unfortunately the jacket didn't remain waterproof. In a light rain it will be fine but in a full rain storm you'll need a rain suit. Be care pulling your arms out too as the little material loop that holds the thermal interior sleeve in place broke on first time taking off. For what you pay its a good jacket though.
