Handy (fits in my belt pouch as shown), sturdy (lasts months being taken in and out of that pouch, and the paper is thick enough to write on both sides), made in the USA and chock full of hints and quips. I truly love that I have discovered Field Notes.

Love these covers!

Love these field note collections. The artwork on the cover is very nice. Paper quality is also top notch. Even cheap pens write well on these books. The covers are very thin so it’s hard to write on them sometimes if you don’t have a solid backing to the notebook. This is a compromise for the slim pocketable nature of these books tho. If that’s a concern I’d recommend the flip style instead. They have very thick covers for easier writing if you’re out and about. Overall tho you can’t go wrong with any of field notes books.

This is a repeat order of a three-pack of Field Notes. These are very handy and easily fit into the back pocket of my pants. I often go to networking meetings and enter contact information of individuals who did not have business cards to share. I also take notes on speakers and presentations. Understanding that many people now use their cell phones for this purpose, I choose to be a little old school. I will continue to use Field Notes notebooks.
