PetFusion Portable Cat Litter Disposal Bin Litter Deodorizer

I was thinking to myself... "Its just a bin! Is it worth the money?" But was sick of using poop bags for my housecats (we live next to the main road and we are planning to move, so they have a catio at the moment for their safety) and their various litter boxes. Even though these bags were biodegradable you still get through alot of them over the week.Anyhow the bin arrives- its very sturdy and great quality! I love that you can use whatever bags you like with it (no faffing around or buying bags designed for the product/brand only which often cost much more). You are also given a few bags to try with the order.The handle on the bin makes it very portable to sort out various litter boxes around the home. Its a good size- not too small or too big and bulky and not heavy. I also love that you can remove the inner part of the bin very easily- so limits mess. It looks neat in the cat room and no more odours- fantastic!!Highly recommended! A*

We got this to replace a litter locker as it was much cheaper than the lockers refills, and we were annoyed at the smell the litter locker would continue to excret. We have a diabetic cat and another cat so the smells quickly become problematic (even the urine from a diabetic cat is extremely potent), the litter locker was never quite up to this challenge and the smell would fine itself out, this bin though, once it's trapped inside it stays there and our house vastly improved in smell, only improvement it could have is a place to hold a litter scoop. The bags that come with the bin have also been strong and sturdy, allowing us to fill them completely before needing to empty (wasn't possible to do this with the litterlocker as the bags would break when removing them if it was too full). Unlike other bins, this also works perfectly with other small bin bags which can be found much cheaper.Would highly recommend, especially if you're replacing a litter locker or needing to buy yet another pack of cartridges.

I have a long standing battle with two cats who have hundreds of acres to roam but prefer a litter tray. They are also very particular about tray and litter and will use the floor or the curtains if the tray is not pristine. Early days yet but the problem seems to have been cracked using this litter disposal bin along with matching large, open tray, mat, litter scoop and a big box of Everclean extra strong clumping unscented litter. Particular benefits of this bin are the carry handle so you can move the bin to the tray, the large easy access lid, well fitting bags and best of all the silicone seal and charcoal pouch. It is almost a pleasure to clean out the tray now and the smell has gone. Not cheap but well worth it - the alternative was going to be a deluxe heated outdoor cat kennel and run.

Does the job well and once closed and been closed for half an hour, it doesn't smell at all - even if you put your nose right up to it. But boy that stench when you open the lid, and the lingering effect after. Jheez. And that's even with the same brand bags!! I would rate this 5 star as it does do the job it's supposed to. But considering you pay a premium for replacement bags from the same company, to which don't actually keep the smell in at all really and kinda leak as they're biodegradable at a seemingly ridiculous rate, I can only give the product 4 stars! NOTE: I also recommend keeping this outside, as the smell really is horrendous and does linger for a while before clearing to reveal an otherwise great product!

I was cautiously hopeful for this product after reading the reviews - we have 3 house cats and this has made life much easier!We are obviously emptying the litter box often and this bin means less complication (&complaining!).It lives in the hallway storage cupboard which is relatively small, and when you open the door there is no smell whatsoever. It really does what it says.Easy to use, easy to clean and has made our busy daily cat litter chores far easier. You can literally use any bag you want after the supplied bags run out.But, I really wish they’d sell those bags on their own they’re really good.

Firstly, yes when you do open the lid there is a smell, ( it does go away once you close the lid ) but with 3 indoor cats, that's to be expected, I imagine it will get worse as the bin fills, as it holds a lot of poo. There is a charcoal filter at the top which if you regularly change will help this.On my normal kitchen bin ( which I previously used to scoop the litter in every day I used the Katfresh filters,( They are approx £1.99 at B&M) If you cant get a charcoal filter perhaps you could use one of those instead. ( They need replacing every 30 days )Because I had 3 cats I went for this option and I like the fact you can just put a bin bag in and change the filter and not have to mess about with the special cartridges, like the other litter bins. I have put an ONA block inside the bin, so when I open it the smell isn't too bad. They last a long time. I have found over the years having these next to litter trays really helps. I have placed one in the bottom of the bin, and it is helping. You don't need one, but if the smell when you open the lid to scoop litter in is too much, and you have a new filter, you could give it a try. I guess if you have a few cats and there is a lot to scoop having the lid open longer makes it seem worse. But just change the bag more often. There is no way I will wait until the bag is full, as it's such a large container. All in all I am happy with the bin.

Fantastic product. I can’t believe I never had this for my first kitten it’s amazing. I use less kitty litter because I just put the bin next to the litter. My cat barely notices it and it’s so easy to put bags in and can fill up soooooo much cat waste.The bin doesn’t even smell when opened the activated charcoal filter makes the waste smell vaguely sweet and not overwhelming and obviously it doesn’t smell at all closedHighly recommend for anyone who owns a cat
