This costume and light is worth every dollar!!!My cat is seven pounds and looks just like toothless. Plenty of room in the strap for a bigger cat. She was not scratching it either must not have been uncomfortable for her.

This is actually made to fit cats. Usually products claim to fit cats and dogs, you order an xs, and then it doesn't fit at all because it was designed for dogs. This fit my cat, yay.

It is cute. The material is thick enough that the wings stay in shape. The light glows just fine.But for now, it is too large for my kitten. And too small for my fat cats. I got it around the thinner of the fat cats just barely, but he did not like how constraining it was and just kept laying down with an annoyed kitty face, lol. If you have a normal sized adult cat, this would work purrrrfectly! Good luck to you BAT CATs out there ;)

I have two cats on complete opposite sides of the size spectrum and the torso strap barely fit my small boy. This is suitable for a very small cat or kitten--- not a regular sized cat.Have to take some wide band elastic and attach velcro on either end to extend the gut. Wasn't looking for a project, otherwise I'd have just made them myself.

Our pet Batniss, formerly known as Catniss loves this costume. She complains when we try to take it off. It is made of thick felt like material with two velcro closure. One closure at her neck and the other at her ribs. The light up pendant makes the costume that much more.

My daughter wanted to dress up our cat for Halloween. He was a good sport. The bat wings are lightweight and made out of a stiff, felt-like material. It fits like a harness. Cute costume for the price.
