This is a well made product but it is really big, I was thinking it was not as big as it came if you buy this make sure your hungry you need big flour tortillas

We love to eat Mexican and I used to work at a Mexican American restaurant. This is the item we used there so when I saw it on Amazon I had to have it. Works very well and now we are enjoying taco salad night at home and the family really looks forward to it. Put your shell in the oil then push it down with this so the shell wraps around it forming a bowl. Yes they do sell tortilla taco bowls in stores and that's fine if you want it tasting like the box. In my view nothing beats fresh and making your own. We make extras because everyone likes breaking up the shells and having extras with there taco salads. A must have item

Good baskets

Fit perfectly in large fryer!!

I like the basket, good quality. what I didn't like was that the handle is so long, that the only way to be able to use it is either with a giant boiling pot, or industrial sized deep fryers. I would like a shorter handle so that it doesn't hit the vent above it.

Bought this to replace an old one where welds eventually broke.This basket is described as one piece construction. It is not. It will eventually break at the welds too.
