Sole searching goody!
I'll give you a little history or back story to give you a bit more content. I know I'm flat-footed since I could remember and have done nothing about it nor had a clue as to why it was important to have proper support. Well up until 8 years ago, I realized that I've been having some back problems. Probably due to years of negligence including but not limited to, active sports, working out, running, snowboarding, skateboarding, surfing, mountain biking, and on top of a 20 year old car accident. Well... as I get older I find myself limited to activities due to my back. Recently my lower back caused a pinched sciatica on my right leg down to the feet. Any sign of pressure on it is like a sharp nail driving up my toes, heels, ankle, leg, butt, and back. I would still attempt to walk across the room to get what I need and would over compensate on the left leg. This eventually caused tendonitis on the left ankle.OK... that's a fairly extreme story, but true. During these different phases over the years I've tried using Dr Scholl's customized, pain relief, and gel for walking and other normal things. They hurt at first as my feet takes time to adjust to the "correct" heel arches and whatnot. Either way... over a few months I eventually stopped wearing them because they simply suck. They don't do anything to help. I've tried other orthotic insoles that also don't work, prices ranging from $10-$100.Now... remember I mentioned the whole sciatica and tendonitis thing, well that was just last month. I pulled out all of my old insoles to give them a try and NONE of them helped. It either caused more pain or simply was a POS. I ended up using crutches. I was very skeptical about getting "another" insole, but for the price of these I'd give it another go. As I trimmed these to size, I realized that the materials are well made, very light, and fits well in my various shoes, ranging from DC shoes (skater shoes) to Clark's (dress shoes). The first time I tried them on were on a pair of Nike mid-tops for ankle support and street wear. For the first time, between all the sole searching I was able to stand up and walk with minimal pain. My arches are still trying to get use to the "correct" arches, but I can definitely see a difference in the way it balances my posture and pressure points on my feet. This basically tells me that these insoles are properly spreading out the weight of my body "evenly". Well at least better than all other things I've tried. With even body weight distribution it relieves tension on my ankles, legs, knees, butt, back, etc... So all in all, these are THE best insoles I have and probably the most cost effective ones to date.

Day and night difference
I work in a professional kitchen and I was looking for orthotics for my new Mozo work shoes to prevent plantar fasciitis. In the past I've been a marathoner and wanted to avoid having that condition rear its ugly head. First I worked one day with my new Mozos just as they came. The outer pinky toes were rubbed a bit raw and I had pain in the arches of my feet. On the second day I put in my pair of VIVEsoles. I tried them on the night before work and the arches felt really high... too high. I've had insoles that have cut off the flow of blood in my feet because the arches were too high. My foot felt a lot more snug because the new insoles were more firm than the ones the shoe came with so I was concerned that my pinky toes would be even more raw after the switch. I went to work the next morning totally expecting my feet to be obliterated before the day was over - to give you an idea of how skeptical I was I bought the original insoles and an extra pair of shoes just in case. The best thing I can say is that it wasn't until my lunch break that I remembered I was working with a new pair of shoes. They felt so comfy I forgot about them completely. I forgot about them again until I got off work in the evening. I took my shoes off at home and there was no soreness, no rubbing, no pain whatsoever!Everybody has different feet and I can't speak for whether the VIVEsoles will work for you as well as they have for me (so far). All I can say is that the difference between the original insoles and the VIVEsoles were day and night for me. Shipping was satisfactory and I've yet to have to call their customer service, but I will keep you updated on how things progress. So far, very satisfied customer!*Side note: I usually wear a size 8 women comfortably. I was anticipating substituting the original insole for an orthotic so I ordered my shoe a half size larger, 8.5 instead of my normal size. If I had ordered my usual 8 these orthotics would have made the fit too tight. Very stiff, rigid, sturdy insole. Plan accordingly!

Great arch support especially for Flat Feet!
Walking around for a long time or standing up for long periods of time has always been an issue for my feet. Only recently did I realize that I had really flat feet and that was the big problem. I wanted to get insoles so I tried out a few that were just on my heel and it really didn't do much to help with the pain. I finally saw the Vive Health insoles and thought id give them a shot since they were full foot insoles.I tried them out a few days later and was really impressed! They have a really sturdy arch (which has been lacking a lot in the other brands I have tried). The arches were really there and at first they almost felt uncomfortable since they provided so much support. After walking around in them for a bit though they broke in and were very comfortable. The only issue was that after I tried removing the insoles from my shoe, the green sticky padding on the bottom (shown in the picture as dark green) began peeling off. Not only that, it left a really sticky residue on the inside of my shoe which was nearly impossible to get off.I immediately emailed Vive Health since I had received a "lemon" and they were generous enough to exchange the insoles for me. I received a new pair and these one have not had any issues with the sticky padding.Overall if you have flat feet then definitely use these! I have been able to walk around for long periods of time and even stand for long periods of time in all different types of shoes now with these insoles without once having any more foot pain!
