What Sisters Do Best/What Brothers Do Best Hardcover – Picture Book, September 16, 2009

The book is adorable for sisters! My 2.5yo gave this to her sister for her 1st birthday. The only reason I’m giving this 4 stars is because the binding of the book came cut open so I had to hot glue it back together. But the content of the book is great for sisters! Cute and simple!

I purchased this book for my four daughters, currently ages 8, 6, 2, and 1. This is a fantastic book because it can be read to and enjoyed by a wide range of ages as the book depicts sisters in various stages of childhood interacting and enjoying each other's company. I love that the book shows girls participating in traditionally male-oriented activities such as ball sports and building model airplanes! The book touches on a variety of scenarios and situations in which sisters will inevitably find themselves throughout their youth yet keeps the messages simple and says as much with the darling illustrations as it does with words. All four of my girls love reading this book and I have a feeling we will be enjoying it for years to come!

This book is adorable. My 2 year old granddaughter enjoyed it. She will be having a new baby sister soon and I thought this would help prepare her.

This is a wonderful book for sisters! I grew up with 2 sisters and no brothers, and now I have 2 daughters. This is a great book that teaches children how sisters are there to help you learn new things, cheer you on, and be your best friend through all the ups and downs of life. It has been a great investment for our family.

Absolute cutest story about sisters! My daughters love it! We bought it for our first daughter when we were expecting our second baby to explain what big sisters do, and they both still love reading it. It shows all sorts of activities that sisters can do together. Perfect story for two little girls!

Honestly, I found this book disappointing. The book is very high quality and the illustrations are nice, but the content is, in my opinion, nothing special. There are only a few words on each page and I didn't feel they flowed well together. We used this as part of a gift for our almost 3-year old during a gender reveal for her. The cover looks great in the pictures we took and it served the purpose, but when it actually comes to reading it, it is far from my favorite. We also got the Bernstein Bear: New Baby book and I far prefer that content. For the price it's worth it I suppose, just hope it's not one that you get stuck reading every night! I plan to look for a better book for once baby girl #2 is born.

My nieces loved it. My brother just added a 3rd daughter to the fold and this book was a perfect gift for the “older” sisters!

The media could not be loaded.  This is the cutest book! My daughter is about to be a big sister so we had to get her this book. Super cute gift for little girls who are about to have a baby sister. Lovely illustrations and words within. Would highly recommend!
