Nice locking gate latch
Good quality gate latch at a good price. I installed it on a gate at the top of the stairs on my deck mainly to keep my toddler grandson from falling down the stairs and/or gaining access to the pool.It is well constructed and easy to install. Once installed, it holds the gate securely. It is lockable with the provided keys (2), helping to keep very smart little ones from figuring out how to operate the latch.It comes with everything you need to install. It is suitable for both left or right hand open.This is a safety latch NOT a security latch. I have seen a review complaining that burglers easier defeated theirs. This is a deterrent, not a security lock. It is very well suited for the purpose it was designed and is a good value at the price.

Great latch
perfect solution for my aluminum dual gates. This latch catches every time, and is easy to one hand open.

So much better than local building supply or hardware store options
Nice quality and looks great too. I took a photo of a friend's installation on their pool gate and then searched Amazon until I found it. Easy to install. Used on side yard gate. Way better than anything I could find locally.

It was the perfect part I needed. Just wished I didn’t have to get the complete lock system. I only needed one part.

Great but Drilling is required
A great replacement for my old handle. **Please be sure, if your pillar has concrete in it, it may be hard to make a hole through it as this requires you to DRILL a hole through it inorder to connect the back side of it to the front. This was a minor issue but we had a drill bit that was able to drill through hallow area. The lock works great and no issues with putting the key inside.

Worked perfectly for my application
I needed to add a lock to a gate to an open space behind the house. This lock allowed me to match the existing pool lock I had to simplify key management. The lock is quite solid - latching reliably.

A Breeze to install
I replaced an aluminum bolt on gate fence with this latch set. Easy to install and works flawlessly. Well worth the price I paid.
