I had HIGH hopes ....I was disappointed!
I was so excited about this wig! Thank GOD it came late and forced me to go to a beauty supply and buy a wig to wear on VDAY. A $45 wig ( pictured) I bought at a beauty supply store was more “ out of the box” ready then this wig. This is NOT a wear out of the box wig. Outside of just cutting off the lace... I had to pluck the part because it was razor thin... nothing like the picture. I had to flat iron the hair because it came ( Natural and soft .. big plus... and the ONLY reason it got any stars at all.) but it was like it was freshly wash and gently blowdryed ... some of the hair was wavy and some was straight. The lace area where the part is was WILDLY lighter than the lace around the wig. The lace around the edges matched much better than the part. This wig looks REALLLY WIGISH ...pros-The hair had a natural texture and is a GOOD qualityThe hair was really softCons-NEED a lot of work after unboxing - LIKE HOURS .. at LEAST 2Lace too lightPart too thin ( not as advertised)Hair not styled into a NEAT bob ( lose rough ends... more like you had a bob and it grew out)Entire front lose... edges do not lay at all. You need to add a band or glue it down or both.Unless you are a lace front expert... and buy at LEAST 18 inches ... this wig is not worth the money.

Lots of fly a ways and thin ends
The lace is tan and is definitely visible on brown skin. I tried to dye the lace to make it have a more natural look, but ended up dying the hair only. The knots are very visible and spaced out which is very visible on the tan lace. The hair is soft, sheds a little and has a lot of fly a ways around the crown of the head. The hair's density gets very thin as you get closer to the ends. I kept the wig because I attempted to color the lace (major fail), can't afford another at this time and because I really needed a wig after my incisions healed from brain surgery.

For the money, its a good buy!
I ordered the 12-inch about a month ago and so far, I really love the unit. For $95, it is a pretty good value.PROS:- the texture is great and very similar to relaxed and pressed African-textured hair.- styles well. After curling it, it has held the curls all week with little need to touch up- delivery was very quick. Got mine in 2 days- no smell. Though I still washed mine after delivery as it had creases in it.- no major shedding - after cutting the lace, not much came off. No regular shedding.CONS:- ripples. I realize that to create the texture, they probably had to create ripples in it to manufacture that effect but to anyone that knows wigs, its a dead giveaway that this a a wig.- not a light lace. The lace is a light brown and on my skin stands out a bit more than my natural scalp. Its not an undetectable lace.- very thick. Not a major complaint but I ordered the 130% density and I still find it very thick. especially at the top which can be a bit puffy. I would love is they offered a lower density. I think it would look more realistic.OVERALL: I'd buy again and love my unit. Would love try a bit longer length. I've attached pics. Also note, I do not use any glue and have no issue wearing it without. I just lay down a bit of edges and use some powder. I choose to remove my wigs every night. I have not tried dyeing it but that is next. Will post an update. I prefer a lighter brown color.

FROM A HAIR DRESSER/STYLIST: NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!!
I was VERY hesitant to spend over $100 for a wig from Amazon... but went for it because of positive reviews. Also, I'm a stylist (and make wigs) so I KNOW quality, which can't always be determined by price. I've purchased $30 wigs that looked more natural and had better quality (and styling ability) than A LOT of over-$50 wigs. Speaking of price: This wig (at best) is worth $59!!WIG COMPROMISED/POOR PACKAGING: When I spend over $50 for a wig, I don't expect to do EXCESSIVE WORK to improve the look: in this case, my wig has the look of having been roller set. In other words, the hair is NOT STRAIGHT. If I want it straight (like the ADVERTISED PICTURE), I have to wash, condition, color, and EXTENSIVELY IRON the hair. Washing and conditioning is automatic, but straightening and manipulating [a new wig] is time consuming. You say the bending or curling happens during travel. That's a lie/DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING! THE TRUTH: The wig should be packed in packaging that accommodates the wig length; packaging that prevents the integrity of the wig from being compromised during storage and travel. The hair is SEVERELY bent/curled because the BOX IS TOO SMALL for the wig. For what you charge, there is NO EXCUSE for the POOR PACKAGING! And, you should display a picture of what the wig (actually) looks like upon arrival; not just the picture with the hair straightened. That way consumers can decide if they want to take on the EXCESSIVE work of ironing the hair, to force it straight!! Trying (at no avail) to get it to look like the picture!!HAIR QUALITY: The hair is NOT 100% HUMAN HAIR! Again, DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING! Yes it's soft to touch, but it's a combination of human and NON-HUMAN hair (it's synthetic... or God knows what else). The ANNOYING CRINKLES in the wig give that away! That's the work of a machine or something!THE LACE: OMG! It's THE WORSE I've ever seen! It's a CRYPTIC color and feel. And, it's the type of lace that will irritate the scalp! The Wig is marketed "for black women," yet the lace and complimentary hair cover are light! Caucasian light! C'mon! Are you people not thinking about your targeted clientele? At least (for the cost), you could've tinted the lace with light brown!! At best, you should've used a better quality lace!WIG CAP: Too big! Not standard or average. (Causes the wig to be ill-fitting!)Wig REQUIRES TOO MUCH WORK... This is ridiculous for an over $100 wig (that IS NOT 100% HUMAN HAIR)!EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED: Amateurs may not realize they're being cheated when purchasing this wig. But EXPERTS know!! BUYERS BEWARE!!
