Works fine, with minor limitations.
This does work, if you're willing to accept some minor limitations. It's the second one I bought-the first lasted about 4 years until the plastic knob and one of the grid sections failed. You need to pre-cut the potatoes fairly small to fit into the cutting area without forcing--if you don't, it will jam. The fries come out fine, though on the short side. But it does take the trauma out of slicing. Easy to keep clean, but keep your fingers away from the cutting grid. Overall, I'm happy.

Waste of potato.
It’s hard to cut fry’s and u cut a lot of potato out of the French fries.

Broke within a year
Within a year the pin in the middle broke. Tried to contact seller for replacement part. Never answered back. Always pretty difficult to use even before breakage.
