Do dry erase markers smudge on these?

Any dry-erase surface having dry-erase marker on it will smudge. It is not meant to be permanent unless you use a sharpie.

How many would you say you can get out of 1 roll?

It's a 25 foot roll. That's 300 inches. I'm using them to label tool box drawers, cutting them 4 to 6 inches long. If you need to fit more information, or need to write really big, they might need to be longer. So I'd say anywhere from 75 labels at 4 inches to 25 labels at 12 inches. I've even cut some of them in half lengthwise for a few of my small drawers. Hope this helps. BTW, I recommend buying a better marker.

Has anyone tried wet erase markers on these? Wet erase don't work on all whiteboard type surfaces.
