Messy, but easy to work with
I use these to create my scenery base for my model railroad as opposed to dipping paper towels into plaster. While it doesn't create a base that is very strong, it is easy to apply although a little bit messy, but then working with any type of plaster is messy anyway. You can cover a pretty large area quickly and it dries pretty fast as well.I usually make a mockup of the terrain with crumbled up brown grocery paper bags, and then apply the gauze pieces, which I cut into different lengths as needed to cover up the mock-up. Next day after the plaster has dried good, I then remove the mock-up to facilitate full drying of the plaster. Once it's all dry, I then add cast plaster rocks and Cell U Clay to create the final scenery. Once I've done this, the scenery is self supporting and pretty strong, although I would not advise leaning on it. I've also purchased this product in a wider width roll and then cut them into desired length pieces. I like that you don't have to mix up plaster and try to use before it sets up. The gauze strips are simply dipped into water and applied. Messy, but much easier to work with.

Good
First time using this seems pretty good. Two of the 4 rolls seemed to work better. Better adhesion and plaster dissolved better but overall not bad

Works Great for Creative Projects!
I recently purchased the 4 Pack Plaster Cloth Rolls from Genie Crafts for a mini RC Crawler course project, and they exceeded my expectations. The plaster cloth is easy to cut and shape, making it perfect for creating different obstacles and structures. Texture gives a realistic rocky look. Once dried, the plaster is sturdy and can be easily painted or decorated. The value for money is excellent, especially considering the quality and quantity you get for the price. Highly recommend for anyone into DIY arts and crafts!

Great versus others
I carve foam using hot wire tools and then plaster cover for making my model railroading mountains. I did not realize how good these plaster clothes were until I tried another brand that was very thin. The thickness of these and their size makes them ideal and they allow you to cover more project area than others. Other types make you double up in order to get coverage. I do brush on extra plaster from a bowl next to my project area, by dabbing a brush in warm water first, then spreading it on, which gives a great, solid finish and fills in most of the little holes in the cloth.
