Can you use these speakers to connect to a smart tv and games console for better tv sound in the room?

These are wired connection only. I used them to replace the rear speaker on my lg sl10yg that are wired to a receiver. They don't have Bluetooth or full wireless capability

I need to purchase the amp and power supply as was not supplied in the box where can I buy this from?

Hi You have bought just the speakers to mount in the ceiling so if you are using them to extend a record player or deck etc there will be an output for speakers where you can plug in the speaker cable other than that you can buy an amplifier from either Amazon or (Gear 4 Music. A great choice)

What is the best way to wire these. I have put a speaker cable 2 core from tv to speaker 1 then another cable to speaker 2.

i dont understand the question. my question is , has the tv your connecting to have snap in terminals usually one red, one black, for the left speaker and one red, one black, for the right hand speaker. if so strip about an inch of sheathing off the wires to reveal the copper conductor, turn the copper over on itself so its about half inch long and insert into the snap in terminals. if the tv has plug in terminals then you need to buy the correct plugs to fit it.
