My daughter and her husband love it.
I gave this as a Christmas gift to my daughter and her husband because they eat pasta all of the time. I did a lot of research regarding the price of the item and the pattern as well and I compared it to many other brands. I chose the Fitz & Floyd 5 Piece Maxwell & Williams set because of the lovely design and the reasonable price. My daughter and her husband love it.

Lovely pasta bowls
08.15.15 I absolutely adore the style and design of these pasta bowls! The reason for 4 out of 5 stars is that they seem pretty fragile. If dropped they would certainly shatter. They are a little thin. Also, the pasta serving dish is NOT large. It is a decent size to feed a few people but if you have a big group you will need a larger serving dish or multiple of that size. Otherwise I am very pleased. They were packaged well and came without any chips or scratches.03.15.16 - Still intact! I have owned these for months now, use probably once per week, and hand wash (I have no dishwasher). They are still in perfect condition.

Very nice set for pasta or salads
Very nice pasta set that can also be used for salads. The quality and design looks at least twice the price. Don't hesitate to purchase this set, it is well worth the money.

this is a very nice set, and perhaps it will keep us from ...
While the pasta bowls are smaller than what we have used in the past, this is a very nice set, and perhaps it will keep us from eating so much!! The price was definitely right for this purchase and we are very happy with it.

Not a Fitz and Floyd Product, Small, Not the Quality I Expected
I am very disappointed in these bowls. The quality is not what I would expect in a Fitz and Floyd product, but upon inspecting the box, I didn't find the name Fitz and Floyd anywhere. I did some online research and found that Fitz and Floyd has nothing to do with the manufacture of these dishes; they are merely the distributor for Maxwell & Williams in the U.S. No other seller of these bowls online makes the claim that they are Fitz and Floyd products. The bowls themselves are not imprinted with where they are made, but the box says "Made in China."These bowls are small, not the size one would expect in a pasta serving set. The serving bowl is not "large" as stated, either. I'm posting several photos to compare their size with a Fiesta bowl that came in a 4-piece place setting and one of my pasta bowls from my previous pasta serving set, made by Certified International. I filled each of the three bowl to the rim with water, just to see how much they would hold. The Certified International bowl held 5 cups. This Maxwell and Williams bowl held 3 cups. The Fiesta bowl held 2 2/3 cups. This set is NOT gift boxed. The box in the photo is the box it comes in.The bowls all have dark marks on the rims on the bottom, and I could not scrub them off. See the dark dot on the bottom of one bowl? Another bowl and the serving bowl also have spots like that. I could not scrub them off. There is a film on the bottom of all the bowls that I could not scrub off. I used a Dobie and Dawn dish detergent. And finally, the vegetables on the dishes seem to be decals that are put on and then covered over with a glaze. I tried to photograph and show how the edges of the decals are clearly visible. They look cheap.
