Not a good soil mix
I used this product for most of my succulents abd I realised the bottom retains too much water killing the plant. You may have to add more soil, perlite and coco bark to loosen up mixture..I ordered cactus soil from mudfingers Bangalore and are by far the best

Not a coarse potting mix; may not be suitable for cacti
This is a fine but dense potting mix. Not sure what the main components are, but it seems to be sandy. It is not coarse and tends to hold a LOT of water, as some other reviews have mentioned. This is probably okay for succulents like jade and Aloe vera, assuming they are placed in a bright spot and you adjust the watering accordingly. However, I would not use it for cacti that need a free-draining mix. You will probably need to add perlite (which is barely added) and maybe some other components like cinder to improve drainage for cacti. But I feel you shouldn't have to purchase those again separately for a mix that is marketed and sold as a "cacti and succulent potting mix".I can still use this as an amendment for my aroids and other plants like rubber plants, etc. But if I want a cactus/succulent potting mix, then I won't buy this again as this is not a coarse potting mix. Previously, I have tried Mother's feed succulent mix, which is cinder-based and is very coarse. However, it was not available; so, I bought this brand, which was a disappointment.

Waste of money
It's not vermiculite. It is just some dust and some shiny waste material mixed with sand, dust etc. Waste of money. Do not purchase.

Very nice texture.
Light weight, and porous. My succulents are growing well.

Clumps too much
This soil clumps too much and is too heavy, retains too much moisture for succulents. Not to mention how it clumps over time like tbe trust basket garden soil. I got both to try and after a month i can see how much they have clumped and solidified in the pot. Had to take the plants out somehow and add tons of perlite but it'll still be too heavy for succulents. Not buying it again.
