Kuhne Barrel Pickles, Garlic, 35.9 oz.

I would normally buy these from our local Publix store but for some reason they no longer sell them. I found them here on Amazon. They are the best garlic pickles I’ve found. A bit pricy compared to what I paid in the store but well worth it. My son came home from Germany we went through three jars in two weeks.Update: Working on my 9th order. These Are delicious, just the right amount of garlic and sweetness. Reminds me of the Polish garlic pickles we used to get in Connecticut. Wish Publix would stock them again. They were half the online price

These are horrible!! The taste is sweet. As a kid, I’m 73 now, I remember walking along the hiway in the summer to the grocery to pick out a sour pickle from a large barrel. They were big and so sour!! These are a complete disappointment.

German pickles, my first time having them, oddly delicious these garlic dills will make your taste buds jump, a touch sweet but very savory and addictive.

I usually love Kosher pickles, but these taste like dill pickles. I checked the ingredients, and dill is a major ingredient, even more than garlic. Not what I wanted. I thought that "Barrel Pickles" would be more like the ones I had as a kid from the huge jar on the counter at my local small store. Guess I expected too much.

My husband and I love these pickles but I do not buy them often as they are over priced wish they would come down to a more reasonable price then we would buy all the time!

I absolutely LOVE the product but HATED THE DELIVERY BY USPS!! THEY DROPPED (and I mean dropped) the carton of pickles onto our cement porch and drove away! They did not bother to ring the bell or knock on the door! We were in the Living Room near the front door and would have heard a knock or doorbell! It was raining that day, so by the time we found the box, it was wet and busted. Four jars of pickles are now useless because they broke when s/he dropped the box. We spent quite some time cleaning up the mess and broken glass and it did nothing positive for our moods. This is the third time I have submitted a complaint relative to this shipment Assuming it might help, the USPS TRACKING #eVS is 9361 2898 7804 61217101 79 Customer #401121710172# Please note, we had to wait for the label to dry in order to capture these numbers. Once again, we LOVE the pickles but HATED the USPS delivery!

Great by themselves or in a Bavarian meat salad. A bit pricey, but given that they are from Germany, not that bad and the flavor is not garlicky at all...a bit sweet and very good. The are indeed Kosher.Some of the comments do not understand what "Kosher" really means. It is NOT a flavor, rather “Kosher” is a term used to describe food that complies with the strict dietary standards of traditional Jewish law.
