Cooling Scarf/Cooling Headband - Reusable - Stays Cool For Hours - Cooling Bandana for Men & Women - Unisex

I really really wanted this to work. My hairdresser uses these in her shop when her clients are under the dryer. They are great. She bought them at Bed Bath & Beyond. They were sold out as of 2 weeks ago. So I went on Amazon, and saw yours. It looked like the one she uses and had some good reviews. We have a huge festival over Labor Day weekend in out community and the weather is hot and humid. I also live across the street so short distance to walk. I followed the instructions and also put it in the freezer as directed. It got warm in 5 minutes. I was so disappointed. The next day ledt it a little longer, same thing. The one used in the shop last on my for an hour and I get pretty hot under the dryer.Maybe its defective. Going through menopause I thought this was going to be a lifesaver. Going to request my money back.

This is a joke. Doesn't seem to do any better than one without the beads. Didn't work for me. In fact it's more cumbersome because the beads are loose so you have to work them around to spread them out before you can use it. Then If you sweat the beads will swell even more causing it to squeeze your head. If you don't sweat much then the beads will shrink as they dry and the scarf will be loose and slip down.

After immersing bandana in cool water, I noticed the "center thread" coming off, and the bandana was bloated halfway through. Still had to use it for my workout since it gives me that cooling sensation. Returning item for defect/replacement/or refund 8/3/2016. Only my second time to use it since receiving the bandana on 8/01/2016.

My boyfriend bought this for me. I have hot flashes and wanted this product to help cool me. I followed packaged directions precisely. and then tried to use it 30 minutes later. The scarf was cold for a couple of minutes after removing it from the freezer. However, it immediately went to room temperature, offering no cooling effect whatsoever.I wish he had not ordered 2. I've used similar products in the past with great success and am greatly disappointed in this one.I gave it another try today and had the same result. Worthless as a cooling agent.

I followed the instructions and placed it around my neck. It lasted about an hour and I was inside where the temperature was about 85. After the hour my neck did still feel cooler. Haven't tried it as a headband but I prefer to use it on my neck while working outside in the yard.

This scarf is everything it claims to be, and more. As one whose health deteriorates in the heat, this scarf really provided much needed cooling. It's better than most as it has two separate sections of cooling beads that provide even distribution.

I am incredibly disappointed, there are probably ~35 water absorbing beads in the entire headband. It is essentially an empty wrapper of fabric. I can only guess two things:1) The quality control for this product is non-existent2) New Home Innovations assumes the average consumer doesn't know any better and so they think this money saving practice is acceptable

Now I have only tried this item once however it was disappointing. It seemed to work for a short time and then I needed to re-soak it. Maybe it can't handle the humidity we have in Cincinnati.
