This is my all time favorite heater for neonate puppies. It works so well. It has been exactly the kind of warmth needed for bottle babies or in the winter time in the whelping box. It washes well (the cover) and the mat has held up great. I continue to buy these as I need them and recommend them to others.

Like the title says, this thing was excellent to keep the stray outdoor kitty that hangs around my house, warm all winter long. Even when snow was on the ground, she was in her little kitty house on my front porch snuggled up on top of this pad. It actually gets so warm that she seemed to be too hot, so I had to turn it down some PLUS put a fleece blanket on top of it. Even with a blanket on top of it, the heat still penetrates to keep everything nice and warm and snuggly for kitty. This is an excellent purchase for your outdoor small dog or cat and fits nicely in a small kitty or doggy house. I recommend also insulating the inside of the house to hold in the heat produced from this. I could also see this being handy to use for an indoor cat or small dog, or honestly even has a heating pad for us humans!

Update 2022.12.28 - I have been using it when I can monitor it, and it seems to be working fine, so I'm updating my rating. I'm still a little worried there might be a loose wire, so I'll only use it when I keep an eye on it.Pros: my dog seemed to like it, it's affordable, easy to set, soft cover, removable, cord seemed sturdyCons: control always defaults to highest setting, instead of remembering the last setting or defaulting to a lower, safer temp. Seems to have gotten lumpy and hard to flatten. I don't think it was like that in the beginning. More worrying is tonight when I moved the pad it was very hot right where the cord connects to the mat (set to 85 deg), and the rest of the mat is barely warm. I don't think it's safe to use. Lastly the company website on the Amazon "contact the seller" page isn't loading. I'll try again tomorrow.

We placed this in my dog's outdoor box, which as singles and siding and a vent and is waterproof and shades him from elements for when he is outside. I covered the pad with another blanket for extra softness, hung the remote on the inside of his box away from weather, and placed the cord inside a waterproof cord container to keep moisture from getting in. After 2 days at 80°, still on and still warm and he loved laying on it when he is outside

I foster kittens and this has been GREAT for them to keep their kitten piles warm. I love that I can set time and temperature, there is a metal covering on the cord, and that the outer cover is washable. It is adjustable to my needs for the kittens.

I have a senior cat with arthritis and she absolutely loves this heating pad! It is very plushy and soft. It goes up to 120 degrees, but she wouldn't get on it at 120 or 110, so I would advise not using it at max heat. But I turned it down to 100 degrees and that was the sweet spot for her!

Pups love this heating pad! Great for the winters! Multiple settings and protective cord!

Have had for about a year and was fine as pups loved it! . Warms well but the controller started getting warm when plugged in and not even turned on. Warm enough to warm up anything that sat on it. Concerned me for fire hazard so unplugged and haven’t used since it occurred regularly. Now looking for new one :(

It gets very warm. Dogs love it.

My kitty instantly took to it! It’s just the right size for a cat 18x18 in. She’s old, and really appreciates the warmth. It takes time to heat up, but it has timer and temperature settings. However, this product is to be used under the supervision only! I would not leave my house with the pad on, just like any with any other electrical devices.

Just has a short power cable

I bought this for my senior dog who would not lie on it. After he passed, I just put it away till a little feral cat started sitting on the chair in our closed in porch. I put it on the chair and plugged it in. It warmed up but when I came out in the morning it was cold, so I brought it in the house and plugged it in. The controls light up but it doesn’t get warm. If it hadn’t stopped working after so few uses, I would have given it 5stars, nice size nice cover and controls and washable. But there is no way it should have stopped working after so few uses. Because I put it away after my dog died, it is way past the time that I could return for a new one. Thank you
